I'm always amused by the fact he does a cover of Creep and not once does he complete the line "I'm a Creep", he never says the word creep in the song. He wasn't about to put that tag on himself.

I saw Prince on the Controversy Tour with the Time and it will always be one of my top five shows ever. If you haven't done the song it's a must. I was at this Coachella for this show! I think the day ended with Kraftwerk, Portishead and then Prince on the MainStage. So yeah, it was a jam.

No, it was Prince who objected and filed the copyright notice. And it was Radiohead that said that they held the copyright to the song and were the only ones who could object on copyright grounds, which is true -- they are the songwriters and that is what counts. Prince could be a real jerk when it came to KZbin.

Prince once said, " there is only one asshole in this room... and that asshole is me" When you are a boss you cannot be too nice with everybody. I loved him for his imperfections as well.

It's not true at least in my country. The version is ‘now’ a new song with new author, arrangements, etc. So the rights over this one belongs to Prince, who paid royalties to Radiohead for the version, and that's precisely where Radiohead should shut their mouths. In case they said something... I think this happened after Prince's death and there is more rumour than proof.

I'm a Prince fan since the early eighties, I own all his discography in different media formats and I've atended to 3 concerts. I'm fan of Radiohead as well in the same terms but with 5 concerts. In my list of best songs covered by Prince, this one is easily in the last position.

He had those chops back in the 80's too. Just checkout the live performance think it's 1985 of Take Me With you. Shreds it. I think he got better at not trying too much on guitar using more subtleties than he did when he was younger.

Normaly radiohead was the headliner but they canceled. So prince did this for all the radiohead fans who already did buy the tickets .

There is a track where he was 16, the guitar playing is off the chain. He tended to hold back live until 2004.

It was Prince himself who was blocking the song and Radiohead told him to stop doing so. as they hold the copyright.
