Nicks boots one week update on Roberts

Awesome boots, love that color. I just ordered my very first pair of Nick’s. I’ve only wore Redwings, Wolverine, and Oakstreet boots so I’m excited to get the Nick’s Robert boot. Thanks for video.

I love that color! I really want a pair of drifters in roughout (either chocolate or walnut) but I doubt I'll ever wear through my Roberts. I also really have my eyes on a pair of Role Clubs and I might pull the trigger on one and try it out before I buy another Nicks that will also last me the rest of my life :)

@@keithjohnson5148 Anytime! I have a pair of the Roberts in black on the way, I'm excited. About the landscape mode, that just means starting the recording with the phone sideways, so that the video fills up the whole KZbin player. When the phone is vertical, the video is narrow and centered, and there's more space that could be filled up with the boots and that epic beard if it's filmed with the phone sideways.

Man, I'm close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Roberts or a pair of Frank's. Sounds like you prefer Frank's. Thanks for all these video's, they really help.

Yea man absolutely.I choose franks over nicks as the customer service was more pleasant for me.if your like me a 400+ purchase for footwear is a big thing,and franks actually took the time to go into depth on why and other factors.not to mention my nicks didn’t fit wich I had to send back.basically spent 70-100$ to try on a pair of boots that weren’t the correct size

@Clay Pylant hey clay, Leading up to when I received my final pair of boots was top notch customer service with nicks,can’t say it wasn’t.but once I received my boots (wich were amazing looking) that’s when I realized they didn’t fit properly with the 55 last.I then had my franks arrive days after my nicks and the fit was dead on also built on a 55 last but a size smaller,so that being that called nicks and they reviewed my fit sheet and said that I should not drop down a full size the fit was good. Wich it wassnt, I requested a size smaller in the same veg leather and that’s when I started seeing that they didn’t want to make things right.offered me a boot in there regular leathers half size smaller but wouldn’t make me a new veg tan leather boot.also told me I could order 5 different size boots and once broken in they would all fit the same.then said they didn’t wanna go down the rabbit hole with me and consider throwing in the towel.note never got a second pair of boots to try on. So I took my loss and moved on.I still respect there craftsmanship but unfortunately couldn’t have a pair for myself.

Yes sir that’s correct the Roberts I received were a full size to big.and nicks didn’t want to drop a full size with my new pair to exchange. Going off my fit sheet they said it was correct.

Negative I did not I actually returned my Roberts and canceled the urban drifters and took my business to franks boots.

Man I had to send them back,they were a full size to big ,even tho I went thru the tracing procedure.but as far as the leather craftsmanship and quality while I had them were top notch,but I can honestly say the customer service with my order was not top notch.and I have since then switched to only frank boots as the fit has been perfect and customer service is amazing. But both companies make awesome boots

Can’t really say on this.I went threw the fit sheet process but they ended a full size to big. One week later my franks boots arrived and the fit was perfect that’s when I then knew that something was really wrong. I’ve since then returned the Nick’s and just took my business to franks. Also with that said nicks are making some really nice looking boots and my experience is not everybody’s.

Sir the boots are great but you know nothing on boots or lasts. .fitting a boot depends on the last. Where your arch falls does decide what size you will need. The division between the forepart and the backpart is very important. If your foot is out of the ordinary no boot will fit you and the last have to be made and that is expensiv
