Another lucky boot owner getting a new pair of Nicks. It would be nice if you would put the boot name and leather used in the description. Thanks for another good video.

7:04 - 7:05 In the future, you should blur the customer's private info on the order form. On a mobile device we can zoom in with the screen. I know on a pc it can't easily be seen, but on a mobile screen you definitely can zoom in. Either blur the area, or even easier, only film the boot that doesn't have the order form attached to it. Just wanted to help you out. Because I'm sure there's some people out there who wouldn't want their home address/phone number/email shown in a video. Anywho these boots look amazing! The quality is always great!

Some may not care and don't mind, but I thought I'd comment anyway :)

@nicksboots What boot model is this? I know the leather is Cypress 8. It's not the Charley model since it's only available in one height, that is shorter than seen in the video.

In the future, please post the boot model and type of leather with your videos. It will greatly help customers wanting to buy your boots. It will save you all time. It will also save us time not waiting as much for this kind of information 😊, especially if we want to make an order soon! While some people may be familiar with what the boot models and leathers are in your videos, there's still other people who don't know that information. So please add them at least somewhere, such as in the video title and/or in a pinned comment. Most people don't read video descriptions and overlook it. Those two areas I mentioned get the most attention. You all work very hard and make amazing high quality boots!

That’s the first time I’ve ever seen anyone get glue on a boot. Does it come off easily?

My cypress 8 Charley’s are in production right now. I’m just going to pretend these are mine and you’re just going to put the toe cap on off camera.

You can have them because they’re mine lol

No handwelt, or McKay stitch anymore?
@phoenixreen8 күн бұрын
No McKay stitch anymore. I found an old reddit post the company replied to. They stopped doing it a long time ago for about more than a year. Cobbler "Pleppers" from Nick's Boots said: "Before it was glue, nails/tacks and stitching (McKay). We deemed the construction adequate without the stitching and decided it was redundant." Someone replied: "Gotcha, so just glue now?" Cobbler Pleppers: "In the toe of the boot, correct."

I didn't know there are so many nails in the boots.

Yup pretty standard across many brands in the pacific northwest industry. They are purposely built tough to last for many years. Often, people with rugged jobs get these boots.
