I can’t speak for anyone else, but I found your brief story about the house really interesting, and would definitely watch another video on it if you did one. We’re all here for the games and the retro, but we all have real life stuff in the foreground so it’s definitely good to see that side from you too! I must say I’m very jealous of your game room. I don’t have anything like that (I have a corner TV cabinet and 1 bookshelf), but I can’t complain. My wife allows me to have the monstrous PVM on display in the house to use which I’m extremely grateful for! 😀

To be honest anyone would probably really love the thought of their grandkids moving into their house after they're gone. Thats part of getting a house and paying it off in the first place so your kids (and in this case their kids) can have a place to live/grow up. While you'll obviously not be able to talk to them about it i can imagine somewhere up there they would be really pleased about it.

I can sympathise with all the hard work it’s been to get the house in shape. Last year me and a brother emptied out the house where my dad used to live. So very exhausting. Very wise of you to get an adjustable table for your computer. I have one at work and it does so much good for me to stand up periods of the day.

Loved the video, Nick. Nice setup with the room. Can't remember if I've mentioned it before but I love the cable management on the wall. We've recently bought our own house as well and I cannot wait to rebuild the games room. This time, making it more my own as opposed to a half-hearted attempt at our first place, lol.

Hey there, just a lone viewer writing a comment on the off chance its viewed by you, the creator. I may not be able to speak for everyone, but in the beginning you emphasized that this was a gaming channel and you do not wish to "bore" us with other topics. However, I was highly invested in what you had or would have said, documentaries are major hits, as-well as biographies, if you felt like opening up and getting into a specific and more personal topic genre, you would still have had my thumbs up and viewership ! keep up the great content !

Nice room man. Have you considered a retrotink 5x pro? You can pair it up with a hydra SCART switch and route RGB, S Video and Composite all through just two devices. As you also have a CRT you could get the hydra switch with 2 SCART outputs.

Oh wow, this video came at the perfect time. We are trying to move out at the moment and it is the most frustrating process I've ever dealt with in my entire life. This is exactly the setup I want! Do you mind saying if you kept it within a budget? We're probably doing to end up hiring people to fix things from the survey wrong with our place and it's horrifyingly expensive despite initially seeing it as immaculate.
@RetroBreak
@RetroBreak 2 жыл бұрын
Way over budget so far.. Don't want to go into specifics publicly, but a lot more needed doing than we realised. Plus with mess ups from the solicitor I had to pay another big sum up front. luckily I got the house at a discount as it was sold through family so I could afford it. Will be remortgaging in a few years to take advantage of the improvements increasing the value, but it's a lot to spend now :/ Good luck with yours!
