One major thing that you didn't mention for people in your tips and tricks section is for them to wait for just a moment while Ash Blast spreads. It takes time for it to spread out. During this time, you want to take a shot at an elite or use Moaning Winds and then use Overheat after, that way you're not just getting partial value out of your Ash Blast+Overheat combo.

This build is awesome, its definitely one I've been wanting to try, just haven't gotten the legendaries to make it work yet. It's interesting that you pretty much forego those skill tree nodes that boost weapon power based on AP and basically don't use your guns. My current build is using Lava Lich set so I can summon a bunch of eruptions and get that 25% AP boost while Volcanic Rounds is up, then refill the mag (and my HP) using that Feed the Flames ammo-steal mod. I just can't, NOT use eruption. It's too bad-ass for me to pass up, lol.

I finally got the Acari legs dropped to me and made this build because I didn’t have the Lava Lich helm for the phaser beam build. First boom town I ran with this build I got the Lava Litch helm. Lol! I’m seriously loving this build though. I only struggle a little bit with the brood mothers.

I'm currently trying a similar build! :) It's pretty fun so far, i mostly use ash blast and overheat with cinders. I've thrown death sentence in the mix as well, but i don't know if it boosts the overheat damage or not 🤔

Thanks for the video, by some miracle I already had all of my gear using cooldown reduction, anomaly power and skill life leech. I'm missing all of the tier 3 mods you use and have no legendary weapons either. That said the damage is still pretty high but it could be sooooo much better if i had the acari gear and all the mods, what is the best way to get the acari gear? I F'd up the hunt way of getting a legendary so no luck there. Does Tiago offer all of the pieces or just the helmet? I have only seen the helmet on the last two times i have logged on. Relying on a 1.25% legendary drop chance to drop 3 pieces of gear i need could take a very long time especially see as the enemies dont drop loot during the mission :/

When I was leveling my devastator I had a weapon that generated shield, it seems really bad because it didn't really provide a lot of shield, however, there are some armor mods that proc when shield is completely depleted. With this is mind I made a leveling build that worked fairly well until I out leveled it. I have not reached CT15 yet, but I can't stop thinking about whether or not a shield depletion build would be viable at CT15. I will try it by the time I get there but, since you are already there and have much more experience building cohesive builds, I was wondering if you would consider investigating this theory. Cheers

We definitely need the step before this, where you grind up to this and what level you should run to farm these legendaries.

Just go for some good Epic Items and try to do a Eruption build or Vulcanic round build. (there are super many guides on youtube) That should be enough to run CT10-12 without needing any legendary or Legendary Perk. Then its grinding time till you can get any 3 Parts of the Acari Set. But with 3 Parts and a decent build you should be able to run 13-14 (maybe 15 with friends) If you can´t play the Expeditions that high, you can also try to go for the Hunts. completing all Hunts will garantee a legendary Armor Part. You can just run on World Tier 1 and do the last Hunt in the highest World tier to get a high Legendary.

No he doesn't need to lol, you need to read the title and realise that you and your character aren't ready for Endgame builds until you put more hours in. Then come back and enjoy the work he has done for you once you get said legendary's.

He has several builds to work up to this on hos channel. Theyre just bullet builds, you cannot push high tiers with an AP build without legendaries.

I wanted more advice on what level to farm for most efficient drops etc. In the end I sorted it out myself and now I have all the legendaries, but you guys being like “no he doesn’t need to give out more advice on the best way to farm your first legendary set” isn’t that helpful. Lol

I love the Pyro class, so much fun to play. My only issue is finding a build that works in the mid challenge tiers until you can find the set pieces needed for stronger builds.

Focus on firepower / cdr items (third stat as you like). Specc in the top tree for maximal usage of Ashen status +damage. Find a Rifle with 1 shot in magazin. Buy the Gun from Tiego with the mod Grand opening. Put that mod on the Rifle. Oneshot everything in low-mid tier.

Is it worth doing the bounties over and over if I'm only missing the 3 Weapons? I can clear CT13 in about 9 min or should I do World Tier 1 for the first 9 bounties then World Tier 15 for the last one for a guaranteed legendary weapon?

Try dmg link? On last boss of boomtown there are three all grouped together. Dmg link them and they share 20% x 3 of your dmg. They are all elite too so captain hunter.

I would think having that flat damage is better because Death Sentence is situational and would be better paired with it and changing out pants on fire because majority of the damage you will do is with ashblast overheat combo

Here's a build to look at. I call it demo man. The juggler with it's shrapnel grenade perk and the moaning wind perk. The two of them deal a crap ton of damage in a good AOE. Mix that with the acari helmet for the wider flames, the perk that gives overheat a 30% damage buff against targets effected by it for five seconds. And the 25% debuff from heat wave. You hit heat wave on a group of enemies. Then hit them with overheat. Then charge in and fire your grenade at the enemies that are stunned by the fire/ash. Using the moaning winds reload will deal huge huge damage. Then from there hold down your fire button and tap reload. It's ridiculous how much damage you can pump out using top tree with the perk that fire applies ash when it runs out. The constant marking from overheat and the debuffs makes it so you can nuke everyone with your grenades.

So I have your first version of this build I’m still missing an Acari piece for the set I swear I molly wop through stuff still but does group scaling effect enemies health I swear all join a group and barley do 140 million dmg at most at the end of a longer expo set this up late last night to test and I was crushing did 75 million in first 2 and a half minutess

Let me make a suggestion to help you cut down your time on Boomtown and elites/bosses in general. You're not fully utilizing one of the strongest parts of this build: Untamed Power. You should hug the bosses more when spamming your skills, while also throwing in Moaning Winds and melees in between cooldowns. Untamed Power is how you deal with elites, and you missed out on a lot of damage in your Boomtown run. Hope this helps.

for me before getting the acari my build basically weaken with fire wave and kill with weapon procs like comet, moaning that I got from my other class... maybe you can use T2 weapon procs at first.
