Something glitched out with the trackpad driver and I couldn't get it back, but it worked in the BIOS setup so the hardware was good. No, I don`t because I never needed it. I`m running Windows 10 scince its release, namely Windows 10 Pro on my elder Dell Office PC and Dell Latitude laptop and on my powerful moderrn not self-built but at least self-configured AMD Gaming PC without any signifcant issues and everything runs quickly and smoothly as it should and also without any "evil visitors" thanks to Windows Defender and the browser addon "Malwarebytes Browser Guard" for instance. I also debloated and cleaned all of these Windows versions some time ago thanks to your and "Chris Titus Tech" and "JayzTwoCents" special videos on this topic. But I don't always fumble around in the depths of the OS, once adjusted and it's good, apart from small things depending on my needs and preferences which of course may change from time to time.

I have no words to describe but to say that you are the best. I was having an issue where every time and I mean it, literally every time when I turn on my pc or even restart it, it would say updating the system and then at 97%, it would show message that something went wrong and then take like 5-10 minutes after that to come to home screen. Also, whenever I press start button, it would say, something went wrong, click here to sign out and that notification won't go until you actually sign out. Also, I was not able to search anything, as well as not able to right click my task bar programs or pin anything at all. Seriously, you saved me from days of reinstalling stuff or weeks if I would have gone for the reset option, or even worse I maybe had to buy an external drive or something. I had this problem that a Windows update failed in 2023 December and that was the last update I had. Because that update failed, it made it so I couldn't access the clipboard, notifications menu, windows built-in calendar, windows menu search wouldn't work (this was really annoying because I had to open certain apps through win + x or through task manager starting new task) and overall notifications wouldn't show. And ALL my stuff on my computer stayed the same as I had which is amazing. Thank you again for this solution! Would like this video 10 more times if I could.

I follow your tutorial except interface on windows setup.exe a little bit different, after managed this installation, i download gpu driver from official dell then i extract to other folder. launch the setup.exe straight forward installations finished 😁😁 then i instal geforce experience also successfull. damm happy man! have been try many tutorial for instalation "nvidia failed" this is the most working and less problem. * i recommended create your system restore before proceed any installation like DDU (incase is failed) hope it helps other 😊👍

I didn't use the media creation tool but simply downloaded the Win 11 .iso file that was applicable to my version of Windows. Also backed up the system in case of any problems with the refresh install. I'm now about two thirds of the way into the operation.

Back things up in future if you ever need to do a reset, like game saves and any files you want to keep, google drive is a good place to put backups. You'll have to reinstall clients like steam though because a reset is like saying you're installing it on a new device.

I tried resetting my pc and it wont even do that. I click it and it freezes the setting tab and makes that noise when i try to click anything then this pop up saying about cant access specified device and i dont have the appropriate permissions to access them (C:\windows system 32 cmd exe. This fix can only work so far but if the file corruption issues run to the bios then i suggest you go your laptops or your pcs motherboard manufacture site, download a fresh copy of the bios, then quickly install it and restart. Keep it on a flash drive or something incase it ever happens again. So many people had this same issue with the 22h2 version update in 2022 and a few months after because the taskbar and some other process files became corrupted, and they just did an update for the minor issues with the taskbar. It was because the bios was corrupted through the update and windows 11 is more prone to corrupting things still even when they fixed it more last year but there's still issues there. They won't be able to entirely fix it with all of it being downloaded over an internet connection now but they can definitely improve it where it rarely happens anymore, other windows has the same issues.

My main disk C with the windows I was updating remained intact and updated windows, my second disk D doesn't exist anymore, my *physically other* disk E from a second hdd didn't change. It might have different behaviour because disk D has a different windows of its own, but again it was a logical partition of the same hdd as partition C.

Yeah probably windows 11 is a lot more prone to file corruption because of how we're 100% purely downloading the updates over an internet connection now, you'd do well to wait a couple months to install any major version updates because of this because it hugely lowers the chances of it happening after a bunch of bug fixes. Alas though it can still happen and people who somehow managed to install the september and october 22h2 version updates at the end of 2022 only started seeing issues a year or so later, and i'm still seeing people dealing with those issues. Although minor compared to what a lot of us experienced, they show up with certain games, software, or possibly after certain windows 11 updates. A lot of us saw those issues right away though and had to do a reset right after to get it to work because the updates were too big which is why they scaled them down further after that, i haven't seen any issues since. The file corruption and degradation issues were worse then too but they did improve that however it still may happen to some files. So doing this refresh will install all fresh files of the operating system and i bet everything will work fine then.

My main drive, which is an nvme m.2, is partitioned, one part windows, the other, files in general, mainly games. I also have other drives. If I do this will it mess any of these other drives and partitions? Thanks!

Hey Nico...I want to reset my windows 11. But I don't want to loose Office 2016 which came preinstalled. How do I do it? Not concerned about other app and but only Office 2016. System is Out of Warranty.
