Great video, could you talk about gear a bit specifically about boards because you said you have different foil boards and it would be nice to have comparisson like you did with fin boards. Keep up the good work🤙

most guys use an 85 wide in the PWA since you can only register 1 board.

Great work, to get these videos ready over night and deliver on the same level on the next day. Props to Lars, and great start by Nico💪🏽 What are the headphones for on the water? Isn't it important to hear the conditions and the other riders?🤔

I am following you now since many years. Beeing 58 y now, I have had a burn out 12y ago. I also had the feeling watching your chanel that you put yourself under a lot of pressure. This might be a reason for getting sick so often. But maybe I am completly misjuding it from so far away. I hope an any case that you get to the root of your health problems and that it will not be anything serious.

Great job guys! Love the music mix. I used to get Flu a lot in my early 20s after taking strong anti-biotics for a viral infection I picked up windsurfing in sewage💩 all good now. The doctor said to me that windsurfing is such a comprehensive workout that it leads to extreme exhaustion. I love that feeling

Dude I had the same last year... I was sick constantly. Never happened before. All tests perfect. This year, nothing. I don't get hit by anything again. I think a new wave of somethng just hit and it took some time to build up resistance to it. Hope you get the same experience!

what amazes me with the wing-foiling, is that it requires super-long harness lines, way longer than windsurfing I feel!

Sorry to hear about your health. I know that between sailing and other training that all of you push very hard. From my own experience of living with leukaemia for 30 years while still doing a lot, it may be possible to cut back on gym work and other non skills based training a little, and still get good results with hypertrophy and strength. There aren't many other species of mammals that push so consistently hard. Recovery is so important! Good luck and thanks for all the great vids!

Hey Nico . Could you please explain why slalom competitors have to gain more weight? Someone will thought that less weight goes faster . Thank you !
@paulsp2k2 ай бұрын
The assumption that being heavier would slow you down isn't necessarily true once you are up and planning (or foiling) as the extra weight allows you to hold and control a bigger sail, and therefore more power, and that benefit far outweighs the cost to planning speed due to excess weight.
@andreaskatevaths92722 ай бұрын
Yes but what about fin ?
@paulsp2k2 ай бұрын
@@andreaskatevaths9272 It's the same for fin. Lighter sailors might plane earlier, with a smaller sail, but once a heavier sailor, with a bigger sail, ( or just more in control) gets up on the plane, he/she will often be faster. The key is that both sailors are planning, a lighter sailors doesn't plane "more", both boards at full power will have almost the same drag, the difference is one will be getting powered by a bigger sail and so more driving force

Dear Nico, as I just heard you are getting sick very often, I got to advise you to check your gluten intolerance… I used to get sick very often, but then I was advised to stop eating gluten. It was a life vhanging experience for me… please go check on that, you need 40 days of to have a result…
