This whole case is unusual, and "opinions" may just be what is safest for the children at this point. MP's past tv interviews are very telling (also in opinions of professionals), as well as Ian's written evidence statements to FBI. A lot of MP's actions and conversations were revealed and that MUST mean something to the judge's "opinion". MP is doing exactly what Lori did for years; lying to cover up when convenient, pretending she meant one thing over another, being a victim of everyone else's wrongdoings, a victim of four "abusive" ex-husbands, etc., etc., etc. Please...MP was always in Lori's shadow; she knew Tylee and JJ were NOT safe. Then again that's just an "opinion". MP's story stinks and makes no sense so I really hope "opinions" count. This should be about the children. The world knows who they should be with and where they've had their happy home. Let's hope "opinions" win this case!

Not a true statement Brandon agreed to joint custody with a reunification period . That means she has to meet with a therapeutic interventionist weekly with her children then that person will then make a recommendation to the courts this could take awhile . That person will be documenting everything that is said and done and report to the courts if she is in appropriate at all with her children . If she is or says anything it will take a long time for her to really get joint custody of her kids .

This is 2 years later, I think that Brandon felt 'safer' now that Melani P's uncle (the one who tried to kill him) was dead then, and Lori was in jail, now she's found guilty for murders. And aunt Lori was also being indicted for attempted murder upon Brandon's life. I wish Melani P is also indicted, but the only proof we had was motive, she wanted the life insurance and pretty flimsy evidence (she's likely to be the one who told Alex and Lori where Brandon was living then).

No Stacey Cox had diabulimia. Like most of the Cox family she had mental health issues, she was anorexic and refused to take her diabetes medication because she wanted to stay slim. Not taking your insulin will lead to diabetic ketoacidosis.Which in turn can lead to coma or death. Her husband stated that when he brought home groceries she would return them to the store. And that even with a child in the home, which is why he removed Melani from that environment when she was 6. It seems all the female members of the family have image issues and fear gaining weight. The mother Janice Cox has a big issue with it. And the father Barry Cox is reported to be schizophrenic, so you can see that they must have had a very unsettling upbringing. It’s is sad to say but Stacey Cox committed a slow suicide

I have been wondering the exact same thing I guess if you're skinny young and blond they're lined up at the door seriously I didn't even date for 4 and 1/2 years after I broke up with my ex then again I was too busy taking care of my children and working the kids needs came first I don't feel that the niece was on the same page

I agree with you but a judge cannot go against the biological parent if no charges have been filed or proven she has not been charged with the attempted murder of her ex and law enforcement has not been able to prove that she knew what happened to her cousins don't forget the Chad and Lori have not been charged with murder yet nor has she

The glaring abandonment issue GIVES him foundation for that ruling...despite no murder charges being leveled (yet). Hell, somebody should charge Melani for G-Pita. (General Pain In The Ass).

Hey, it's 2 years forward now. Now they're indicting Melani P's aunt (Lori V. Daybell) for attempted murder of Brandon Brodeaux. There are evidence on the day of the shooting, Lori was helping Alex adjust the jeep he used to drive over to Brandon. Unfortunately, Melani is not indicted yet, since proof is flimsy. But knowing how she trespassed to Brandon's parents' house with Alex nearby lying in wait (of course, she was arrested by Utah LE for that) and how she also was one of the 5 people who knew where Brandon lived then, I can deduce she knew about the plan to murder Brandon for his life insurance (she refused to take off her name from that insurance too, by the way, despite being divorced).

That whole family is a mess! I feel for Colby Ryan because he lost his siblings, dad, mom (prison) and the rest of the family is a mess. Lori's mom and sister defended Lori before they found the kids bodies. He literally has his wife and kids...that's it.
