haven't played drakengard, huh? good! don't! drakengard is a horrible experience! i went through it myself as my first game in the franchise prior to playing the nier raid in ffxiv, and i wish i could recover the time i spent getting all that bullshit for ending e! that being said, drakengard 3 is much more bearable. i just was not very invested in its cast, nowhere near as the replicant cast.

Hermaphrodite is not the medical way of saying it for humans, it would be intersex. Hermaphrodite is used for animals like slugs that have fully functioning dual systems.

Shadooper is right with this one. A Hermaphrodite has both sets of functioning reproduction organs. They will have essentially a penis and testicles, while also having a vagina and womb. They can both inseminate and give birth all in one. Intersex however means they can have both characteristics, but don't necessarily need to have them all. Other characteristics may or may not be there at birth and may even develop later in life. They may develop just one of the other sexual characteristics, such as just a penis without testicles or a vagina, but no womb. Intersex may not even develop any physical characteristics, but may just have the chromosomes and hormone responses that the original sex would not normally have. Intersex is the proper medical term. But hey, the more you know....

Will further add that - All Hermaphrodites are Intersex, as it is a specific type of it (as explained in the previous post) - Not all those that are Intersex are Hermaphrodites. Intersex is medical catch all term.
