There is so much tension and it's because communities have lost what links them together, which is a shared heritage, core beliefs and way of life. We are not being asked to change and integrate with them. They are not getting housing ahead of us. The reason there is a shortage of those amenities is because they were not being funded by the tories because the economy has gone to crap. Blaming this on immigrants is false (immigration is the only reason GDP has gone up since covid). It is currently required to keep the economy going. If you want to reduce immigration you would need to do one of the following: 1. Force women to have more kids 2. Increase the retirement age or remove the state pension altogether. On top of this we need to train our own skilled workers, which is what Labour are already doing. With absolutely no change in policy, the OBR and the ONS predict that net migration will half over the next year or so. We just need the children to go home and let the adults deal with it.

I sent this to my MP yesterday: Firstly, congratulations on ousting this constituencies previous Con MP:) Re: the recent & horrific scenes of public disorder/thuggery. Before said disorder began, but shortly after the horrific Southport murders, Nigel Farage suggested: "maybe we're not being told everything". Well maybe we were & maybe we were not, but maybe we were being told as much as the police considered appropriate before the full facts were known. That said: Farage's conspiratorial comments appeared to have lit the fuse that resulted in scenes of public disorder (including the attempted burning of a hotel with asylum seekers still inside). Farage's comment was utterly irresponsible, & why he made it online (presumably to garner maximum publicity) needs to be investigated. Bearing in mind having made said comment outside of parliament he has no claim to parliamentary privilege. Farage is not a stupid man, so my guess is he was well aware of what he was doing. Albeit, possibly not realising just how far reaching & dangerous the public disorder might be. Farage is the UKs Trump & equally dangerous because he cares about nothing other than his own sense of self- worth/importance.
