I made ramen a couple of months ago, and it was quite an undertaking. Not including research It took about three days to marinate the eggs, and several hours beyond that to put together and cook.

There's a lot of baffling parts of Nigella's process, but the single chopstick to stir just has my jaw on the floor. Like, what is the point?! I can't comprehend how/why she would think to do that, except that she maybe saw a Japanese chef cooking with chopsticks once and thought "well, I don't know how to use chopsticks, but I can use a single stick, and that's authentic."
