These were the days of Great TV, the writers back then knew how to write shows that were funny, without being offensive. Back in the days of Night Court the writers left it up to the viewers imagination to fill in what they didn’t show, this is what made it so funny as everyone had to visualize their own scene, in today’s shows the writers show what happens, which is their view, or what they think the views perception is, which totally blows the comedy.
