Mr. Shay is played by Mark Blankfield from "Fridays" (ABC's short-lived early 1980s answer to "Saturday Night Live").

This is one of the funniest conclusions because each punchline action gets even more absurd than the last. The girls run from Dan. The guys run from Dan. The sperm bank rep shows up ready for a night on the town with Dan. Dan gets ready to reluctantly oblige... ...only to be held at gunpoint by a mugger... ...and praise the mugger's existence. It all crescendos magically. Just rapid fire gutbusters such as this feel like an anomaly.

If the title has the word depraved in it instead of deprived it, it still would have worked.

Fictitous or not, Dan Fielding is the greatest character of all time. There is no par nor distant star that exudes anywhere near the ironically light-peppered human trait for self-serviance or self-preservation in it's most undignified manner as he so effortlessly does. If sarcasm be held as a comparison to the dark-matter that modern physics suggest it is as a building block of our cosmos, it is without doubt surely held in place by the sheer delight we can feel in our souls at how repulsed we feel by our self-indulgent chuckles at watching this worm communicate and interact with our moralistic tendencies. Seeing the castrata of him in the reboot was not even damning, as the past is foolproof thanks to video, 700lbs of air pressure in a fire hose and a $5000 loan from Bull the human pretzel or a leesh law on children, paying to pie in his own face or french kissing a water buffalo, keep an eye on the guy in the penguin suit as a scarecrow at a dwarfism party...you may think it's all there for you on KZbin, but it's really there for the very existence of time and space itself. - *_Ex New York 12th Circut Judicicary-Baliff Bull Shannon, Jupiter._*

Joking about rape and suicide....Only Night Court viewers understood humour? This was in the context of a joke, and that's what we are sometimes as humans....a joke. Dan Feilding for President, because at least he's honestly a reminder of how bad we aren't. Miss you all...Bull passed last year...I hope the afterlife is like this show!

💘If anyone wants to listen and stay safe? Just put God and Jesus in your heart, mind and life. And it's call: hope, faith and love with God and Jesus. And be brave, truthful and unselfish with God and Jesus. Unless you choose to do judge with God when you die? So be on your best to God and Jesus if you want to become a angel?👼

I truly hate sitcoms but this sitcom was hilarious and I remember it from when I was a child on channel 9 in Chicago which I could barely get in Kenosha Wisconsin and I would watch it through the little lines on the television and everything just because it was the best thing on. Smokes mash which my generation which I am the first millennial cannot stand. And many other garbage sitcoms. Like Seinfeld and home improvement and nowadays the big bang theory all garbage
