Its a great tune, i was made aware through a movie soundtrack that Joe Lynn Turner covered it with his band Sunstorm, check that out to if you want a different perspective on the song, both are great.

She only hot big with one track with Phil Collins. I always forget about this and 80s on 8 played it a few min ago. Been trying to figure out who played this, and some of the chorus riffs remind me of Steve Stevens, and it has a sound all over it, but I have no idea who did the original one, but also has the Michael Sembello sound too, too bad they didn't document it. This video is an incredible job of it though!

Man this is a killer version. Hadn't heard it in a while, and they just played it on 80s on eight and I've been trying to figure out who the original guitarist is period it kind of sounds like Steve Stevens in the chorus in even the solo has a lot of his runs on it, but also kind of sounds a lot like Michael sembello who was a huge session guitarist at that time as well. Anyways man, you nailed it and got s sub from me. Everytime I see someone rip an 80s track with a fractal, I realize that thing sounds better than the original analog racks that created the sounds to begin with. I really think I should grt the rack for my desk honestly and stop using plugins. Thanks for sharing!

MARK!!! Glad to see you Sir... hope you have been well!! Nice job on the solo... what a blast from the past!! I think, not sure, but didn't Daryl Stuermer do the guitar work on that album? Anyway....be well, be blessed Brother!! 👍🙏🤘

He did write one of the songs, so maybe it is him. I can't find anything definitive. I was thinking Stevens or maybe Sembello as both played solos and rhythms like this around that time. Too early for Huff I think, and doesn't sound his style. You might actually be right.
