Night Time Cloth Diapering System with Tie Nappy

Hi, I find that this nappy, doesnt absorb very well.. and the underlayer, when soaked is cold and wakes baby up in the night..

Hawwa Almaghrabi I've used this diaper with a brushed cotton insert for over a year every night, and only had leaks when the cover ran low on lanolin. We've only had to upgrade our system when at 13 months our toddler became a super-heavy wetter. And by super I mean she goes through roughly three size six disposables a night.

Do you use doubler and prefold..also with this method is it trim at all..my dd is 17mo and I'm looking for a trim method bc the bulk is upsetting her...she's a tall slim baby so the bulk is truly bulky :)

That gave me anxiety from hell lol. Woman seriously?!?! Put a disposable diaper on her and call it a day!! You could have done a load of laundry on how long it took you to put on one Disper!

That disposable will still be sitting in a landfill when that baby is an adult. You do you and don't discourage parents who are trying to make a small change with a large impact. How many hours do you blow on social media and trolling KZbinrs? Priorities.

It's really not hard to use cloth. If you don't want to use a tie nappy or a snap diaper there are velcro options. Not everyone wants to create tons of waste and spend thousands of dollars for trash

@@toristewart6961 not to mention the fact that disposable diapers expose your baby to various toxic chemicals used in the manufacturing process, whereas cotton+wool is completely non-toxic. This was our primary motivation, not necessarily the environmental impact although that is a nice side-benefit.

She was taking time to explain. It's actually very fast. It doesn't take us any more time than a disposable to put on, and it's an extra 2 loads of laundry a week. I put the laundry in and do other things. I would argue that it probably saves us time because we used to have constant leaks and rashes in disposables.
