Just wanted to thank Fletcher for the idea of painting the tomb banshee as a woman burned on the pyre! Been playing nighthaunt for a few years, but had zero interest in painting it until I saw that paint scheme. Imma gonna borrow that idea 😊

Just a heads up, when you're eating a spell with the Banshees, it is a roll to beat the casting value of the spell, not what your opponent rolled. Also, for ever 4 banshees, you get +1 to that roll as well :) Love seeing AoS on the channel!

Not sure if it’s been mentioned! But if you desecrate with a unit it can’t also contest an objective, it has to be one or the other as it’s treated in the same manner as an objective! Amazing production value, always wowed by the videos!

Great game regardless of tech issues. Nighthaunt are absolutely gorgeous. The ethereal blues and greens with the burning candles. So great! The finale was wonderful. I think it was never actually mentioned on camera that the Knight of Shrouds was healing and gaining a wound after killing things with his Sword of Stolen Hours. Turn 4 Chef mentioned him healing and being on 8. I'm also not sure if the Spirit Hosts' ability to eat wounds for heroes was ever relevant, but it feels like it probably was for at least a chain lightning. Spooky ghosts have many tricks to keep track of.

I’m not sure that the scriptor mortis could have judged the lord imperator in turn 5. The rule is that the same soul cannot be judged more than once in the same battle. Beard judged that model in turn 4, so it may be that Beard would not have completed his grand strategy. I’m not sure that the lord imperator could have been listed in the book in the first place as it requires that the model to be listed be in line of sight. It was a great game as these are my two favorite factions in sigmar.

Just a note on Beard's miscast, he can re-roll as miscast is on a unmodified roll fo 2. 1.5.5 - Rules that refer to an unmodified roll are referring to the dice roll after re-rolls have been made.

They're a good army for starting the game. They have basically one strategy, run forward and smash the enemy before they smash you. Whole army can retreat and charge and fly and most of the important buff pieces can teleport. Movement and smash face.

@johnny wardlaw the only "must" for nighthaunt is magnetic storage. The models are very spindly and can catch and break if you go the foam or shoebox method. That being said they're also surprisingly sturdy even if some models wiggle a LOT on the base, they can take normal movement and painting just fine.
