Nightmare moon timeline is actually the best one of them all she is surprisingly reasonable and good natured for an evil queen her guards seem to actually be loyal to her not faking it out of fear her rule has a lot of beautiful forest land and her castle is a tourist attraction so she allows others in it and she apparently found away to keep plants from dying if only Luna could see this mabye then she’ll stop feeling so guilty about being nightmare moon knowing that if she did win things would be fine

No one but the people worship are safe and "safe" is a keyword here because even if are safe, this doesn't mean that you are happy and people who worship her and are not slaves of nightmare moon then she doesn't care if they die, her castle being a tourist attraction is good and all but it's in middle of a forest and not any but the most dangerous forest and it being night forever doesn't help because there are timberwolves. So, therefore nightmares moons timeline might be the best but is isn't a good 🤓☝️

The problem is we don’t know what happens to the timeline version of the characters. Let’s call nightmare moon’s timeline timeline A and the characters from that timeline character A. So nightmare moon A goes and reverses the elements of harmony, but because of this when returning to the present she can no longer still be in timeline A - instead she is in timeline B, where it is assumed - by sawtooth at least - that the B version of nightmare moon would still have won. From here the two scenarios are either that there are two nightmare moons, or only one. In scenario 1, nightmare moon B would never have faced the problem of elements of harmony and may not even have been banished to the moon. Regardless, in this case the two nightmare moons would just fight, and the victor would continue in that realm, without starlight’s intervention because nightmare moon B wouldn’t need to time travel at all to destroy the elements of harmony. The other situation is if nightmare moon A replaces nightmare moon B. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t recall seeing any of the alternate timeline twilights, starlights or spikes so we don’t know what happens, so this could be the scenario, which brings more problems - Yay! - because then timeline A starlight might not even exist, being replaced by starlight prime. In this scenario timeline B can’t be ruled by nightmare moon A because starlight A would have been replaced (unless the universe temporarily unexists starlight A until starlight prime goes back to time travel limbo or wherever, and then patches starlight back up? That’s assuming even more stuff so it’s probably not true). So scenario 2 is faulty - so scenario 1 should be true. Ignoring all the other enemies that should have been defeated by the elements at that time, if nightmare moon was then the only enemy (timeline B), wasn’t banished to the moon and defeated celestia with her corruption, then 1. She probably would have been able to defeat timeline A nightmare moon, so there would effectively be no change except nightmare moon A dying, and no change at all to timeline B. 2. If she didn’t have that power, neither nightmare moons should win, turning that timeline into an eternal fight (or however clone vs clone fights would go. 3. She loses, which is pretty unlikely. But even so nightmare moon A would probably be quite heavily injured and would be easily overthrown, meaning it would be more beneficial for her to avoid creating such a timeline, leading to both timeline A and B losing their queens. Of course this is under the assumption that they return to the future after the time limit, like twilight and starlight, instead of living out until the present, because that’s what we’re shown. Otherwise it could work much differently, e.x. Luna B vs Nightmare moon A?

It was destined that Celestia comes back after a thousand years. Then there would be another battle between the sisters. If Luna won then Equestria would remain in darkness. But if she lost, Celestia might rule Either she could be a good ruler or maybe become Daybreaker because of her anger. The elements of harmony were the only things that could make a difference. If Nightmare Moon found them she might destroy them or use them to defeat Celestia for good

This timeline don't have a twilight starlight and spike because when the rainbow didn't happened twilight starlight and spike were at the same age as they are in the original timeline so we don't know how there past and future would be like

The part about nightmare finding is not that likely because we don't know where star light go the spell or if the star of that time edited in a same way for nightmare moon but also who knows if the spell would even work whit out the map because starlight pisficly went to the map to use the spell and I'm pretty sure the map dissapers after each time line change

Tbh, teh plan wouldn’t have worked if she used the time travel origibally anyway. Remember, when starlight rewrote the spell she planned twikight getting her hooves on it, because everytime twolight used it, it only alerted starlight and sent her back too, or sent her back to starlight. All nightmare moon woukd accomplish is as far as she can get before starlight redoes the spell all over again.

Wait a minute what about the everfree forest without the tree of hermany and the Elamites of hermany to power the tree back up eventually the everfree forest would grow out of control that was starting to happen in the original time line twice but in both times that happen the first time twilight was able to return the Elamites of hermany to the tree of hermany and the second time when Sombra destroy the tree of hermany the next episode with the student six the tree spirit alert them and they made a tree club house from the tree of hermany remains and I bet the student six tree club house is now controlling the everfree forest from growing out of control now. So nightmare moon destroy the Elamites of hermany would not be a good choice That's my theory anyway 😑
