Even if Wally does come back I don't see how even he could pull Artemis out of the place that would put her in. It's also quite a cheap trick and a lot of people would probably and rightfully call them out on poor writing. The only way I can see them pulling it off is if Darkseid completely destroys the planet and they have to time-travel back in their old bodies to a point where Wally is still alive, and then they only have the memories of what is about to happen, not the reality of it. Then they live through the same time back into the time where Darkseid almost won and stops him by stopping multiple important events in earlier seasons, like Wally dying. Before season 4 came out I was really hoping for a speedforce thing with Wally, but the creators have said that they think it's too messy and won't use it

I never understood the whole "super strong person gets hit hard but doesn't move at all" like yeah in some cases if they're standing right and get hit in a specific way, they can tense hard enough that they won't move, but unless they're super dense and weigh hundreds of pounds, hitting them should move their whole body as much as it would any person of the same size.

@@cornonjacob I mean, with super strength must come _some_ sort of super muscle-density and/or bone density to be able to withstand the kind of weight they lift without their muscles tearing themselves apart. Such resistance would likely lessen the human instinct to reduce damage by not trying to "tank" the entire impact and instinctively try to instead push back against attacks. For most impacts, humans recoil and move back by instinct to reduce the damage we take. This is why when we get hit by something completely by surprise we tend to get hurt a lot worse. For example in various fighting sports, most sudden knockouts will be caused by a hit that the fighter didn't brace for/didn't anticipate even though they took dozens of hits before that looked much worse since they staggered back or "rolled" with the attacks which reduced the force their body went through.

Does anyone else want a soft reboot? Like keep S1 and S2 but rewrite S3 and S4. S3 could be about mourning and moving forward and set maybe few months after the end of S2. No underlying secrets or betrayal and that plot point sail. Perhaps Blue Beetle feels extremely guilty for being tricked into turning his scarab on mode and could’ve potentially saved Wally. Bart and Gar are trying to reassure Jaime’s that it wasn’t his fault. But the citizens still blame him for the invasion and some even refuse help from him reaffirming the guilt he has. Nightwing and Artemis are going through it. Nightwing wallowing in the death of his bestfriend and perhaps having flashback to when the Bat family lost Jason. Artemis lost in her sorrow for Wally and how she probably should’ve listened to him and stayed retired. Superboy and Ma’ggan are restarting or at least trying to figure out where they stand with one another. Hero’s trying to build each other up again rather than keep (sometimes necessary) secrets and bring betrayal into the mix. And throughout this whole season don’t bring any new main characters until maybe the later half of the story, focus on the characters you have now and their humanity. Be mature without having the characters resort to substance abuse. Maybe some of them have become too reckless. Have mentors interact more with their protégés. Perhaps some of the squad feel like they’re seeing visions of Wally but are not sure if their minds are playing tricks on them. Maybe Wally is stuck in this purgatory like dimension-can see everyone but can’t interact with them and try to find ways to do so. Perhaps Bart and Berry feel something but don’t know what and at the end they finally activate the speed force and bring Wally back. But maybe bringing Wally back also brings and unknown evil into the mix. Basically the Superboy plot in Season 4 but more meaningful. Bring the consequences of Season 2 into season 3 and season 3 into season 4. What do you think?

(Tbh i didn't watch the series on HBO because i was too young to know a thing such as HBO Go etc,but i actually watch the moment of Artemis dan Wally on YT years back). Because of this reason,when i finally remember them (their ships called "Spitfire"),i started to watch YT again,but i see 1 (one) video titled "Artemis's New Boyfriend" and when i watched until it's done,i was like "What The F*ck,who is this guy" (by the way,even after all those years,i still don't watch the full series because of the bill of HBO Go + i'm from Indonesia and when i see the bill,i think it was too expensive because it was dollars per month). And because of that thing (the "Artemis's New Boyfriend" video),i was hoping that someday,Wally will Comeback and be with Artemis again.

No, just no. Killing off established important characters to establish a one arc villain is how you speed run a disengaged audience. When authors start doing this to set up a short term antagonist that means once this arc is over in the next antagonist comes along there is a need to establish that this new villain is at minimum just as bad as the last often requiring the death of another character to maintain the steaks. When this starts happening over and over again the authors left two options either start reviving characters and under cutting their original death in signaling to the audience that they can do longer trust the story when they say a character dies or start introducing new characters who are less interesting because they have not had the same amount of time to be established and as such the audience is going to always surely dislike for replacing a more popular and well developed character. When stories start doing this the story often dies shortly there after because of one of those two reasons.

Not only did several people die for real, Blue Beetle Ted Kord, Aquagirl Tula, Jason Todd, and WALLY WEST, but even if some people's deaths aren't permanent, the trauma all these characters endure is very real. Young Justice does a fabulous job of showing the effects of the superhero life on the mental and emotional state of all these characters. There are more consequences of import than just death.
