There is no song on the Human Nature album that I don't like. Every single one is beautiful, straight up masterpieces. Tuomas is still a genius when it comes to writing music. Actually, he keeps getting better. And the fact that Floor can sing pretty much anything thrown at her makes it super easy for Tuomas.

Ah yes, this was the first song I ever heard from Nightwish. It was summer night 2020, me and my family were listening music on our living room, my stepdad loves rock/metal music and then this song came. I love Troy's vocals throughout the album, but especially on this track! I really enjoy his sweet bass-baritone voice, and how it harmonizes with Floor. Nightwish is now the second metal band I know of where I can sing along with the male vocals; the first being Ike's bass in Van Canto.

When I call him a bass-baritone, I’m not referring to his timbre, but rather to his vocal range of notes. He can sing low notes that are usually only heard from low basses, but he can also sing the higher notes associated with baritones. In terms of his timbre, however, I agree with you in that he does have a light and lyrical quality to his voice.

I really not write anything about anything really.... but I had to tell you guys. i`m 48 with a kid of 12, buts not the point really... my mother of 86 suffers from dementia, alzheimer, what ever you gonna call it... and your music... was a tarja fan and discovered nightwish again with Floor (we all love Floor), and you save my sanity, not sure what to put in terms you understand the implications of what im tryin to say, but you saved me... really music is a healer... when im down (must of the time), I heard you and lifts my spirit ( if it is there in some place....). I mean there is no words, i know you are regular people, but the magic you make for some people (talking about me), is something to be recognized and acknowledge for... I´m from Uruguay, near Argentina, and really i have to tell you this, don`t know if you`ve ever gonna read this but from the bottom of my heart.. thank you men, and women (obviously), for make my life a little more easy in a way. And Im criyn while typing this. Love you guys!! And thousands of thanks.

I've had almost the same situation. I took care for my mom over 4 years, Dementia and cancer. The hardest time of my life. Well, back in the days, 1997-2005 I was a Nightwish Fan. When I found out (very late, 2015) they have a "new" singer I saw the Wacken Show on YT. Floor, she caught me in seconds ! and they've got me back as their fan. Yes, Floor made it possible! Their Music is my powersource on dark days! Even my Mom liked them, especially Ghost Love Score ;) She closed her eyes forever last September, in my arms, here at home. I'm still in a mental hole but this wonderful band and especially Floor, with her Fan Fridays, always brings the sun! Thank you Nightwish! and @ luis, all the best and much power for the hard time. Stay strong!

@@luisb98 luis, what can I say? I know words will not help! Feel hugged! It's so sad to hear, but you are right, she deserves the peace and relief. I found dementia is one of the hardest, the badest diagnostic someone can get! I could try to find nice words now (english is not my motherlanguage) but I know, it will not really help - we have to go though this pain :( But knowing that the suffering has an end for a beloved person, helps a little bit. Take care for yourself now, cause a close relative is suffering too, sometimes even harder, because we know and see whats is going on. Well, above you said, you not write about anything... but hey, this can help maybe a bit. There is a Nightwish Fan Discord with Fans from all around the world and they would heartly welcome you! I think it doesnt matter if you are there for talking, sharing thoughts, just talk about the band, a song, the life in generall, whatever... or just hang around idleing. If you feel alone and no one else is around, it's maybe good to have a place where you will find nice people from the nightwisharmy/family. It may be too early for you right now, so take your time!
