Thank you for saying what I’ve felt for the last 5 years: they are the best band on the planet and I don’t think it’s even competitive. Talent that is head and shoulders above anything out there. I can’t wait for the album release and with any luck a 2025 trek across North America

No visual distraction, good. Not so many sound effects, good. Floor coming in with a soft voice, mmm-melts you. Jukka's Bass. Delicate piano... Floor ramping it up. Kai exploding! Troy! Underwater sounds from your mike stand :) The music video explains a lot... Hungry for the album!

I got Audio-Technica ATH-M50X and they've been in quite heavy use for 5 years, the only problem i've faced so far is the leatherette peeling off from ear pads but I guess they could be replaced

You NEED to do the video - it is the best of Nightwish I ever discovered and you need it to really get the meaning of the song and you become master of the wisdom within the first minute!!!! But choose the version from nightwish arena as this one has an uplift on Floors voice in the mix! Greetings from Germany again my friend!

Nothing at all wrong with the original mix. Do you not trust the songwriter/composer? He was overseeing every moment of the mixing. I get it though, it sounded off to me too the first and second time. Your ears/mind evolve and uplift Floor's voice automatically after a few listens. All the other pieces come together as well. Think of it like as a puzzle you are gradually solving without realizing. Tuomas Holopainen touched on this briefly in a recent interview. If something sounds strange at first listen, then listen again. I'm convinced there will be some intentional riddles and mind effing on this album even more than usual for them and I'm very intrigued.
