My notes :--- 1. Quitting Tik Tok for me its gonna be you tube shorts 2. Oversharing 3. Impulsive shopping and unplanned buying 4. Stop random things and random people offending Being offended is a choice 5. Quit using phone first in the morning 6. Not getting into trends 7. When things are over complicated just ask yourself how this can be easy 8. Reacting on the things before taking a moment 9. Quit having expectations from people they dont know about 10. Quit to fix everything about yourself

One thing I've quit is seeking validation from other people. It's been a few years of work in therapy and being really honest and intentional with myself, and sometimes I'll still catch myself feeling desperate for someone to affirm or reassure me - but I'm finally at the point now where I feel that gross tension in my chest, that desperation, and I recognize "oh, I'm giving away my power to someone else right now and asking them to validate me. What do I need to hear from myself right now?" and it's such a powerful and exciting moment every time I get to see myself stop that process and move differently than I would have before. My relationships were all toxic to some degree before, and now there's starting to be a healthy balance of support and a genuine community in and surrounding my life. It's incredible and I am so grateful to myself for putting in the work to create this change.

One thing I have quit and that I am SO SO proud of is impulsive shopping/ retail therapy. I realised I would do that for instant gratification or instant validation of what I am feeling inside instead of actually letting my feel that feeling, figuring out thr root of it and fixing it. I have turned towards talking about it to my sister or my mom as a healthy approach and trust me it is one of the best decisions of my life, plus is improved my relationship with my sister and my mom ❤ Loved your video, thank you so much 💕

I really Loved your video and got inspired! Normally people make motivational videos by telling us how to create new habits to change our lives, but only a few people mention the fact that first we need to get rid of the bad ones.
@hasanalabbasi70924 ай бұрын
I quit facebook, tik tok, snapchat , X and lately after a long thinking and hesitation I quit Instagram too 😅 Now I just use KZbin and a language learning app. Seriously, my life got better, I feel more focus and undistracted and I feel like now I have more time for useful things to do and improve my life for better. I was thinking like if I quit these platforms I will be disconnected from the world 😁🤦🏻♂️ but it was just a lie ..!! Ahahaha Nothing bad happened it’s just normal, you can survive without it. My advice for you all .. “Quit social media and your life will change for better” You will see the difference from the first day

I haven’t watched your videos in quite a long time but decided to give it a try and oh my, you have grown and matured so much. I love hearing your insights, since my early 20s were just as silly as you described. One day I just decided I no longer need to overcomplicate my life for someone else’s approval or because I feel like „I should”. My younger version was very much occupied by constant self-development, but in almost toxic way. I let social media influence me way too much and it’s almost like I’ve lost a sense of what I really want and need from life. Thank you for this little talks, it was a pleasure to listen!

This is honestly one of the most helpful videos I've seen. It reassured me quitting TikTok was a good idea, and that alcohol doesn't have to be your default order at a bar. I also used to stare at my phone to wake up and now I also get up and make myself some tea. 😊 I love the part where you talked about expectations others don't even know about... it makes so much sense when you put it that way! 😁

10:49 Overconsuming the negative content about the endless conflicts between genders can unconsciously frame into your mind a negative perception of the world. To aware the conflicts between genders is to stand for the rights and defense against unfairness, not to assume ALL people from the opposite gender are bad. You can always find good and bad within things ❤

It troubles me thag there are still content creators supporting and accepting sponsorships from better help with ALL the information of unprofessionalism and violations of HIPPA as well as FTC guidelines they have faced. They have also been accused of selling peoples data and information to help other companies promote different ads to their consumers. Whenever o see someone sponsor with this company, it just shows me that the credibility can be bought. I hope I’m wrong with you.

9. I wear an Apple Watch with its own cellular service for IF there is an emergency; it's actually quicker to access in the "what if" situation than digging my phone out of a bag or pocket anyway. I don't need my whole phone. While it's 100% a luxury item, it brings the same peace of mind for the "what ifs" that my phone does.

I do really love this video but I also think the concept of "just accepting how men are" like you calling your boyfriend practical….men are completely capable of expressing empathy and you should be able to talk to him about how you feel. Nothing replaces girl chat for sure but u think just accepting how "men are" is completely and "not trying to change them" is just being compliant. Also there is no biological evidence that men are built differently from us emotionally, it’s how men are socialized when they are younger that makes them like this. It’s totally up to a man to decide whether or not to change this mindset.
