I was thinking the same thing and even that goes without mentonnière that LeBron's in-game pairs have a custom airmax setup that's both softer and lower to the ground than the retail models (as clearly seen in photos taken while he's wearing the LeBron 17 and LeBron 18); which is probably more comfortable & secure while allowing the air bag to act as an outrigger when compressed and flattened out.

The pricing is odd. In the U.K all Lebron 18 colourways are fixed at £165. Copped the Reflections and really like the look. Glad I bought a pair!

Not sure i wore mine outdoors on concrete 5 times impact protection was good, but the bubbles on the tongue bruised my foot. And the durability was decent i have the dunk man colorway which has a green translucent outsole so I'm not sure about the lakers one.
