QD: I might not win but I can’t lose! 1983 Pegasus, the original! I was actually working for Nike from 1982-early 1985 and clearly remember the launch of the Pegasus. Very durable, lightweight, a shoe most people could wear as an everyday trainer. With all the Nike offerings over the years, my next experience with the Pegasus was not until the Pegasus 29. A legacy shoe for sure!

I am a 72 year old runner who celebrated 40 years of running in February 2020. So, I ran in the ORIGINAL Pegasus in 1982 (I think)! They were considered a "Light Weight Trainer at the time. I absolutely loved the shoe and fell out of love with the shoe with later generations as they got heavier. But still have a very soft spot in my heart for the Peg! Thanks for your reviews and all you do for running. I love your channel!

I ran in the original Pegasus (although not the first iteration as it was 1986). Ran my first Marathon in the Pegasus 2000. And now own the 35, 36, and turbo. Tried other versions but those listed above are the ones I’ve liked. They have not all been created equal. The latest versions with the scooped heel tab have been awesome for an aging runner with chronic Achilles issues.

Great video, looking forward to the Peg 37 vs Novablast duel, that's my next choice for an every day trainer, I'm currently in the 35s, 37 not out here in Europe yet. My first Pegs were the first two models way back in the early 80's, classic grey with blue swoosh. I preferred the first iteration, cleaner lines and better balanced, from what I recall. Had quite a few over the years since then, never been let down, good, all-purpose shoes, fine on most terrains. Last forever too!

I have the men’s version lol. Best shoe ever!!! I needed that extra foam, the bands do cut into the foot, just loosen the laces. I love duralon, but it wears out quicker. Nike Pegasus 2004 for 7th grade track. That’s the 16th iteration I think. Wore that shoe all the way until my junior year in 2012 when during the Spring Lacrosse season we practiced on the tennis courts (snowy fields) and i kept dragging my foot during a shooting drill and ripped a huge hole in the upper. I was devastated. Easily my favorite shoe I’ve ever owned.

Pegasus v1 from 1983, that shoe was a game changer at the time, first affordable air trainer in Europe, very durable - I put at least 1000 miles on my first pair.
