My favorite thing they took *out* compared with the original Peg Turbo is the pointy heel, since that was always where the midsole would split where the React/ZoomX layers were stuck together.

That was really wholesome and awesome how he played with his son. Thats the good memories that stays with them throughout their lives. Those are good character core building moments right there. I also love using Nike running shoes as everyday kicks. I always figured that if they can handle the wear and tear hardcore running that they were made for, then they can handle casual wear and tear comfort. I got a pair of Nike Revolution 3 back in 2016 and im still wearing them. They've been so damn comfortable and held up amazingly over the years. The've just recently started breaking down on me, so I decided to get the Nike React X Infinity Run 4. The Infinity's are so comfortable and light, Im thinking about picking up another color of them.

Pegasus 41 is top tier. Super light and comfy. Did a 2 mile walk with no fatigue or pain. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been wearing the Pegasus as part of my rotation (including ASICS & New Balance) since 2003. As a former footwear buyer in a sports retail chain, this is Nike’s performance bread & butter. Even better for me & my brother, they go up to large sizes & have multiple width offerings. My current pair are the Pegasus 40 & Zoom X is crazy soft, maybe too squishy in the heel - a bit more instead under the forefoot please Nike -& the upper is like a sock. My only true gripe is how the tongue is stitched to the upper making it a little tougher to get into. If you ever get one Nike running shoe, go the Pegasus. But I plan on buying another pair next year.

I still have two pairs the OG Pegasus Turbo that you had before. After 250 miles used for running, I wear them casually now. Still amazing! I still use the OG turbo 2 for long distance run training now.

Major heart melt moment seeing Chris playing with his son. As for the shoes, Chris having to sit down to think about whether ZoomX can duke it out with Zoom Air is all I need to know about whether I'd like these casually. Thrashed my regular pegasus so feel like a great replacement.

The reason the outsole is like that is the reason the shoe is so light. These are meant for race day or training leading up to it. It’s not meant to last more than a few months, or a few hundred miles

QOTD: I have no clue! :) This is a really pretty colorway. $180 feels steep for me because the Peggy 41s are $140, and I already have a pair of Invincible 3s, which are the same cushioning setup as the Peg Plus. Once those wear out, I'll be trying to catch a pair of these on sale. Thanks for the review! Liked and commented as always.

One thing I really dislike about Nike is that they often come up with something innovative and cool, but the sequels tend to fall short. They make some changes so they don’t look exactly the same, but not enough to make them stand out as a great pair of sneakers, often with some downgrades as well.

I love my peg turbo v1 and v2…….those make me smile too. They look great!!! As for the question of the day, I’m rooting for storm, but if magneto is strategic and shows no mercy and pulls the blood out from the body because of iron who knows. Though I can see storm also using electricity via lightning to reverse magnetic polarity to combat him…and she is god like. I also feel the shows “nerf” Storm too much…..but i guess if she was allowed to do her thing, it’d be a 5 min show?! Kinda like how Bruce Timm nerfed Superman in the animated series and Justice league series to create more drama. I’m clearly overthinking it and nerding out here 😅😂🤷🏽‍♂️

i have three pairs of the original Pegasus Turbos, one in the black and white colorway and then two in this colorway with one of them almost being deadstock, I've only worn that pair maybe 4 times. I had them so long now that the rubber on the sole is shiny and starting to feel like plastic instead of rubber, but I still wear them. The two pairs that i regularly wear have the midsoles glued together at the back with shoe-goo because they split between the layers of react and zoom x.

Got these as a replacement runner for my Pegasus 40. Love the Peg plus casually, but for running, I think they just feel too soft for longer runs. Yeah, that big gap in outsole exposing the foam bugs me a lot, smaller debris stick them too easily, and are a pain to take out if something sharp sticks. Storm wins I think, but it'll be a close fight. Isn't Iceman considered Omega level too?

How do people justify spending $180 on a shoe? I just know or have a rough idea how much went into a shoe and the margins just kill me. When $200 shoes get marked down to $100 at times and you know the company is still making money. Think About the margins before discounts, it's just crazy. I love shoes but the older I get the more I'm just sticking with the cheapest options I can find. Cheapest as in, if it's not on sale, I'm not even entertaining it.
