Agree I watch Bohemian Rhapsody and was very disappointed, I'm glad I did not go to the theater. With "The Dirt" it was totally opposite. The movie was great production, music and acting was fabulous by all of them. I wish they'd shown this at some movie theaters. I will be watching the movie again and again.

Yes and having being basically just “thrown away” by your mother and father is unspeakable and for Nikki to come from where he came from to where he is today is nothing short of a miracle. @@blakequick3099 if people had read "The Dirt" they would realize this movie is like a cliff notes of a cliff notes. They actually skated over a lot of different things. babyhughhef I have read it but it’s been years since I have and I totally agree they also left out a lot about tommy and mars barley got any screen time unless he was apart of a different members character ark I still like the movie but imo it’s hard to tell there story in 2 hrs shit you could spend at least an hr to 2 hrs on everything they went through just starting out before the record label and with Vince the mistake on his life they brushed that part up in like 3 minutes and barley showed how it affected him they rushed a lot of important things except for Nikki’s problems

I guess it depends on which band you like better and I do like queen but l've always loved crue more. The point I'm making though is BR had to leave a lot out/tone it down quite a bit as it was being released at the movies but Crue didn't want that a watered down version of their story. Why Netflix was perfect. I think alot of Netflix movies are better than the ones coming out at the cinema. That's the point I was making.

Marilyn Manson. The list goes on and on.. but Motley Crue was so legendary, it would be a sin to not tell their story.. these guys really lived and defined the "Rock Star" lifestyle. I think Led Zeppelin would be another great story, as would Ozzy's story. One things for sure.. if they make more of these types of films, they will be successful! Please make more!!

That all four members are still alive is a miracle! I think Vince really got the shit end of the stick. I feel for him. I came of age right around Girls Girls Girls. I applaud how Nikki tells his story, and how, as he describes his influences, looking up to what THEY did, and how he had no real person to whom he looked up that would say, "don't do that". More amazing, it's a trip that as rappers say the EXACT same thing, it seems different because it's a different "voice", yet we're all more alike than different, folks.

I watched it last night as well. Wow talk about nostalgia. Some of the happenings I had forgotten haha the hotel trashing. Ozzie and his dress (Although I never forgot Razzle, Randy Rhodes, and right around the same time Rick Allen from Def leppard losing his arm in what was just another "excess").... what crazy ass times they were. Yet it did all seem fairly normal at the time. I'm glad they stayed true to the truth. Admitted they were major fu$k ups but also showed they were real, where they came from, and got it together and lasted for many more years to come!!

"Rock music gets under your skin and lives with you"- amen, big guy! I'm 45, grew up with you guys. Saw you in....... 87, 88, 89? (All 3 years, I think). I can't stress enough that kids today, truly have no idea what real music is. There was no social media. Word of mouth, and 6-10pm on the radio at night when the dj would play the new songs people would request, (more like beg him) to play. That's how I first heard of you. I was rather young when I went to see you in concert..... 15, I think. But my big brother let me go with him, and all of his buddies protected me. I'm fairly certain I got high from the air itself in there, lol, but it was amazing! So glad you've all lived to tell the tale. Congrats on your sobriety!

Nikki is the coolest guy. I grew up with motley crew. I lived in Westlake Village in the 80s. I saw motley live at the US Festival 83. And many times after. They made you feel part of the band. It was magical. When I’m in a shitty mood all I have to is put on live wire on level 10 and I go numb. I’m excited to see the dirt. It will be awesome seeing the story of one of the greatest bands ever. Thank you boys.
