Retired US Navy. Mk 45 mod 4 Mk 160 gunner. That was neat. Still cheaper than missiles but yeah I worked on all that. Loaded the vls cells, CG and CM division stuff.

The CWIS rounds used to cost more when they were made from depleted uranium. The Navy switched to tungsten to save money and weight as these systems are big and heavy and on smaller ships weight can be a problem.
