It was unlikely that this video would get a lot of views without Nik's reveal and thus, Sunny would have no reason to upload this video, the only valid reason for Sunny to upload this video is if he knew that Nik's next video would bring him a lot of views, and guess what happened, it did. Nik's video currently sits at 40M+ views, and Sunny's video currently has more than 5M views. Both creators have everything to gain and nothing to lose from this, but you might say "uhh but Sunny's reputation will tank!!" And to that i say: "nuh uh". People have tried cancelling Sunny before, remember Kris Tyson? Yeah, people tried to get Sunny cancelled, which didn't work, everyone forgot and got back to watching Sunny's slop. I doubt his rep will suffer badly from this, because Sunny has not done anything that bad. Thus, people will say "Sunny sucks!" And after a month or two they'll watch whatever slop Sunny churns out, and i don't blame him, his views are still crazy high despite the drama he's been in and i'm pretty sure that Sunny can literally just retire comfortably if he wills. Essentially, it doesn't matter where the views come from, whether to clown him or to compliment him, as long as he gets the bag, he's fine. Also, considering that Nik has been known to fabricate up drama for years, it wouldn't surprise me if Sunny and Nik were into this. As many people have said, Nik has managed to stay "relevant" for two years despite Nik not having made any video and secretly losing weight the whole. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the signs have been there for a while, and it wouldn't surprise me if many other creators were in on this as well. TL;DR, there was no reason for Sunny to upload this video, unless he had foresight into Nik's reveal. Nik and Sunny must have conspired this because Nik's reveal brought massive views to both channels.

Exactly, I've felt that way for a while now because it seems like such a no-brainer. I would've had a lot of respect for him if that had been something that he planned to do all along.
