Jokic is playing against 2 teams every single night 🤦‍♂️. The biggest problem is that they completely fckd themselfs with MPJs and especially Murrays contract. Ain't nobody want a role player who earns as much as an all star. Their defense is nonexistent as well. What they need is an elite 3 and D guy, who can somewhat consistently create his own shot. They are getting outshot every single game, cause they don't shoot any threes. Celtics just need a decent shooting night for their standards and the game is over by the 3rd.

The problem is thats half the league now. There are 85 players making $20m or more this season. There are not 85 players worth that money, but trash teams have a certain cap space they must use and so in order for good teams to keep their good role players they have to pay them like stars. Otherwise they will take an insane 4 year max deal with a trash team.

No he does play defensive just not in the way you think. He may not be the best 1 on 1 defender , but he is a great help defender with the best iq in the game and quick hands. He is having his best season defensively ever. I had when people act like he is a complete bum on defensive as he is far from that. He also averaging the best defensive numbers of his career. Like he is literally having one of if not the best offensive seasons ever and his defensive is good to go along with it. Jokic probably could be a better 1 on 1 defender but that take more effort and tire him out faster. He adjust his postioning and help defensive to in games near elite levels as it provides almost as much benefit straight up and add in the fact he can save is energy, it outways the cons. Like it bugs me when people don't watch all his games say he a bad defender as if you actually did you know his is above average overall.
