It’s soo sad that so many ppl around the NBA are so xenophobic. Players like Luka, Giannis, and Jokic have been slandered for years unfairly. They said that Luka wasn’t going to be good enough for the NBA and now he’s the best in his class, and the other two have won back to back mvps. It’s really sad to see this is how ppl view them, or maybe it’s just for clicks who knows

I see what you mean but you're a little off base: They don't hate the foreign players, they just hate Jokic for some reason. Luka was made the darling of the league as rookie. He was even the betting favorite to win MVP before last season started if I remember correctly. I'm not mad about that, but it's really confusing that the talking heads in the media think Luka is the next big thing while ignoring Jokic. 8 years after Jokic was drafted people making money to talk on TV can't say his (2 syllable) name right. And Giannis has been known by his first name for about 5 years, most folks think he's the best player in the league right now.

The comments that Draymind Green says about Jokic. Has he said those comments about anyone else. Finally, I love your point about other great who did not win championships, ie Charles Barkley. Larry Bird played with Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish and DJ, allstars. Magic with Kareem and James Worthy. Jordan with Pippen. Shawn with Kobe. Tim Duncan with Tony Parker and Manu Genobli. Golden State, with KlaybThompson, Draymind Green and for two years Kevin Durant, When and I hope they Michael Porter and Jamaal Murray and if they were at least as good as they were when Denver made the conference finals they still are not as good as any of the second best players on the LakersC Celtics, Bulls, San Antonio and Golden State. With Murray and MPJ back healthy I doubt that Jokic will average 27 points, I believe there will be a small dip in his scoring, not that it's a bad thing, it's just the way he's going to play with them back in the roster, but I definitely can see him average a triple double for the season, with similar efficiency as always
@Primitive_Code2 жыл бұрын
@@srdjanpajic2404 Murray and MPJ have proven to be inconsistent. They may take some load off Jokic when they come back but remember how they disappeared in the bubble and next season playoffs? This will be a big problem for Denver since MPJ, Murray and Gordon can't produce even though they get all the hype. They take advantage of Jokic because he's too nice of a guy. Jokic deserves a better team so he can win championships. I say this as a nuggets fan.

41 of the last 43 nba finals have featured 1 of these 9 players is VERY misleading. Its accounting for all their losses, and not accounting for the teams that beat them. Tons of great players being left off CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING TEAMS.

Thank you so much for this video. It’s always painful to see “experts” spew nonsense and most of the mainstream sports media takes it and runs with it. Your breakdown actually makes sense and I look forward to hearing more content!

Yeah how did this guy make it on tv. Low said it best, "this guy is dumb, he is dumb just dumb dumb dumb". Even though the take is bad/horrible, his reasoning explaining it is somehow 100x times worse. Like every word that comes out, the flaw in the logic is so obvious, yet he just keeps going and going. This is what stupid incarnate looks like.

1) Of course you build your offence around Jokic, because he at least a top 5 offensive engine in the league. But he's also great when you are running the ball through someone else. Case in point; against Utah. Murray was going off so the offence was often him deuling with Mitchell. Mitchell was actually a bit better but the difference was Jokic was there to be the quiet difference maker, especially stepping up in the final game when Jamal was burnt out. 2) He's a defensive liability against GSW, and to be honest they are always going to be a bad match up. But he's turned into an above average defender against most teams. 3) I will accept the opinion that Luka or Embiid is better (I also will accept the opposite), but not Jimmy, and definitely not Booker. Someone like Booker is replaceable with any other scorer. There is no replacement for Jokic.
