Agree this has to be one most beautiful videos you've done Niko - love how the video, music and sound effects come together. A request however for future videos: Why don't you show us more what happens "behind the scenes" when it comes to your decision making? As someone who does a lot of ski touring in Norway myself I would love to see more of you guys doing ECTs, discussing type av avalanche problem you are expecting etc. That would be both educational and a way to make people understand that there is a lot more to it than just dropping epic lines and that all the storm/wind slabs you see releasing in this video was expected (I hope...).

Thanks! And thanks for the input too. My intention has been to show the avalanche problems we discuss when it’s relevant. Like in the vanilla ice couloir, where we’re constantly discussing stability through the lower half, doing a few tests that show it’s stable, but then reacting too slowly when the snow suddenly changes in the upper half (due to bad group dynamics). Looking at it again, I would have made my initial avalanche problem hypothesis even more clear, to show how hard is to make these calls. Also I would have showed all the objectives we didn’t go to that day, because of that hypothesis. In this video here it was actually more of a «just go up and shred spines» kind of scenario. There were no reported persistent weak laters, with steady temps and snow fall for weaks, and while of course we knew that amount of powder on a steep slope would move once we started riding, the slope was small with a clean runout so we agreed it was not a problem. And so I didn’t make a big deal out of it :) We’ve had a whole week skiing amazing snow in Austria now too, in conditions that haven’t required a single ECT. Sometimes it’s just «oh it’s safe, let’s go». There are other videos where I go very in depth about decision making, and I don’t think every video has to be that. Sometimes it’s good to just celebrate the joy of skiing. That being said. There will be ECTs hehe. Loads of them. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the thorough reply @@Nikolai_Schirmer. Yeah maybe it's just me being an avalanche geek, but I think your videos would be even better if you spent like a minute in each video, even when the conditions are epic, and shared your decision making process. What were the avy conditions on this day? What was the weather history? What were your alternatives? What tests did you use (ECT, hand shear, belayed ski cuts etc)? Or if you don't want to pollute the video with it - perhaps write a detailed Debrief in the description of each video of the decisions you made? I think it that would make your videos even more relevant to the community and not just another video of The Boys out shredding epic lines.
