To each their own… any woman who is shaming YOU for doing what you want is shameful! Criticism is easy but support for each other is hard ( but RIGHT). And you are 1000% correct on “ acceptance”. Life doesn’t always allow us to have what we want. Accepting ourselves and the cards we are dealt is not easy process. But, alternative is bitterness and yes, criticism towards others to make ourselves “feel” better. IGNORE the narrow minded women that leave negativity on your channel. They are not worth the aggravation. You are an inspiration and helpful to those of us who enjoy your content. Stay strong!

Agreed! This acceptance is exactly what happened to me, also. I did not plan to do it this way. It was a choice I made after dealing with the circumstance I was given. Nikol helped me so much making this decision, I cannot even say. Even my sister was critical of me when I expressed I would no longer be getting "work" done. Now, I look back & realize how nutty it all is (for me anyway), it just seemed crazy to be doing it. I'm happy for others if they want to!

I’ve never had filler. I get Botox 3-4 times a year. I’m 59 and started at 56. I felt like my lines were making me look older than I felt. My dermatologist does it and he is very conservative. I feel better mentally and physically after getting it. It’s not a huge change, but just enough to make me look a little more rested. Also, great skincare is the key. It also helps the Botox last longer. You look beautiful without any of it!

I love your channel because of your amazing style; the way you meet & embrace what life brings to you, including….. aging!!! It’s so inspirational & just plain invigoratingly refreshing! And like you, I like doing as much as possible as naturally as possible in my aging journey. Thank you for aging gracefully!! I am with you all the way. It is sad for me to see women who are so afraid of aging that they will go and do all these things to their faces and their body to try and look younger. The fact of the matter is they still look old, you can always tell when someone’s older no matter what you do to yourself. Glad to see that you’re confident and comfortable with yourself that you don’t need to do these other things. To me, your attitude displays a person that is secure within herself and mature.

That is so odd to think that the idea of being natural is 'unpopular.' I am so much more focused on the idea of actually being healthy, rather than trying to create an appearance of health to fool people. So I have no interest at all in fillers, botox, hair dye, cosmetic surgery or even retinols. I do spend a lot of money on other skincare, but that feels health-promoting rather than health-destroying to me. i just turned 60 and am happy with how things are going too. Probably my channel is small enough that I do not actually count as a real KZbinr but I definitely am in agreement with you about all of this! ❤

I have to say something about your last statement. Never put yourself down social media creates a false world where you are only valued by numbers. This is a very destructive way of thinking.
