I thing is certain. Nikon may make history level sales of this Z8. For the price and what it offers? It's a no brainer. Match it with Z lenses, you cannot go wrong! The defict is partly due to the user him/her self

Great video, but I’m being "portrait photographer picky". Where’s the 5 x 4 image area profile in the Z9 and this new Z8? As a professional I would like to reduce my post production workflow. Is this a software / firmware thing or a hardware thing? The DSLR pro bodies didn’t have this issue… Why irritate us this way now?

Can the Z8 capture stills while recording video like the z6ii and z7ii? I own the z a n I cannot get it to capture images while recording video like I am on my z62

Hi there! While you can’t capture stills and photos simultaneously, you can create a still from a single frame or a series of stills from a selected length of footage.
