Dude, you covered a lot of ground in this video! You had a great day from the looks of this video. I agree on your choice of gear too. The Z50 is an amazing little machine. Standing up for your rights is always a heart warming thing. I was glad you brought that up as people need to know that it is legal to take photos from the sidewalk. Your photos were wonderful today. 👍📸

Great video! Any idea who did the art at 6:30? Nice flowering tree at 8:55. Also I was confronted by police when I was taking photos of oil refinery in Whiting Indiana. Was told it was a felony to take photos of it. Was told the same thing taking photo of Chase HQ in New York. Also police stopped me when I was taking pictures of the old Georgiadome in Atlanta that was not allowed. So I’ve encountered problems taking pictures a few times as well.

Those apartments are in a pretty nice location! How is the cost-of-living down around that area? Where I'm at, the rent is really high and other things can be a bit higher but generally, food is average and I certainly don't live an extravagant lifestyle. I'd love to get some shots of that done building. It has such an interesting design. Now that it's warming up, I'm hoping to get some of the neat buildings around town.

Chattanooga is fairly reasonable compared to other cities.

You are a great narrator and storyteller as well as photographer. I recently did a KZbin search for the term POV and there are a lot of photographers that do street photography and their narration is terrible. you may try naming one of your videos POV and you may get more subscribers it seems to be a key term for someone who walks around vlogging .
@PhilThach3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Karen I appreciate that. The only trouble with using the term POV is that suggests that you have one camera strapped to your chest and you make a video of the camera held out in front of you making shots. I could do that with my GoPro but I really prefer to hold my camera to my eye when taking photos so a POV video wouldn't really work for my style of shooting.

Nice video, nice pictures! I like also that the colors in the movie filmed with Z50 are very naturals. Did you proceed any post-processing on the movie, for picture profile or something similar? Or it is as the camera produced? On the other hand, with every video I watch from you, the more I'm decided to get the little wonderful Z50, as upgrade from my actual D5300. The Z50 experience with photography. Seems that the Z50 covers (almost) everything you need, even with kit lenses, and with FTZ adaptor it unleashes itself :D
@PhilThach3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! No post-processing on the video. I used that standard profile. The Z50 is great, I highly recommend it!

Hi Phil I enjoyed your video!! Always like seeing street photography videos. They are a great lesson learning tool. I would like to point out on a subject you touched upon. It seems many photographers are experiencing being given wrong instructions by private persons, security guards, or even some law enforcement concerning taking photographs. I am a strong supporter of law enforcement but I also disagree when they, security, or anyone intentionally gives you wrong information or instructions. (when they know they legally can't) Maybe the security officer would have been better off if the first time he had told you what he told you the second time. After being corrected maybe the security guard will not attempt that in the future. I'm not advocating getting confrontational with people over taking photographs but every photographer should know their state's laws and they'll be in a better position to decide if the photo is worth having a confrontation with someone. It's getting more difficult for photographers. Maybe it's the times. Best Duane

What kind of memory card did you use? More than one card?
@PhilThach3 жыл бұрын
I use SanDisk cards mostly. The Z50 has one card slot so all the photos and video in this were written to one card.

@@PhilThach My D5600 has problem with memory cards. I get 'this memory card can not be used" but when I take it out and put it back in, it usually works.
