Stunning shot at 5:30 🌳 The balance between foreground focus and background softness adds so much depth.

Hey Phil, some good shots despite an unplanned curtailment of your field trip. One of our sports channels in Canada broadcast the Tennessee game against Vanderbilt today. Your Volunteers survived an early scare on the road and after a strong second quarter, never looked back.

@@bobg982 thanks, Bob! If Tennessee earns a home game in the first round of the playoffs, we will be there. I was surprised during our Canada trip to see USA sports on every TV in a restaurant we ate at.

It is amazing what you can achieve with a 24 f4. I took my 24-200 for a hike a month ago and stopped it down to f9 hand held for some beautiful landscape imagines. They look great on my desktop background.

Fun video, that lens punches way above a kit lens!

Thank you! Thomas Heaton chose it over the 24-70 2.8 and 24-120 f/4 lenses for his landscape-focused camera bag.

Nikon has done a really good job with their Z mount lenses. The 24-70 is the bomb. I traded mine out for the 24-120 which is equally as good at least to me. I find that I am using my 14-30 less and less in favor of the 24-120. Love the landscape photos you produced.
@PhilThach26 күн бұрын
Thanks, Ron! I use the 24-70 more often than wider lenses, too, but sometimes, only an ultra-wide will do.

For the solar eclipse in April, I got a portable toilet kit, which also comes with a small tent for privacy. It's all foldable and can be handy for such occasions.

I wonder how long that vine has been squeezing that tree? I also wonder what was squeezing more, the vine or you on the way home? 😁

Hi Phil, I enjoy seeing nature and the trees and interesting shapes, the vine wrapping around the tree, do you think it could be poison ivy vine?

Thank you, Pam! I sure hope that huge vine wasn’t poison ivy lol
