Just noticed this: Harley kills Batman with a Revolver and they played a sound like a casing was ejected. In case you don’t know, Revolvers keep the empty casing in the cylinder until they are pushed out by the ejector during a reload. They played a sound like it automatically ejected the casing, on a weapon that doesn’t do that. It’s not that big of a deal, it’s not like it’s the mistake of the year but it feels funny when I think about it.

Batman beyond was being planned by rocksteady, supposed to set Damian as future bats. That got canned in favor of Gotham knights. Then the superman game got canned in favor of junksquad: kill wb game division. There were also talks about using Shadow of War Nemesis system in the game. But ofc these incompetent clowns would never deliver the goods.

In revolvers the spent casings do not eject- they stay in the gun until you remove them manually

Fun fact: Arkham Knight was developed using the Unreal Engine 3, by then Unreal Engine 4 was the AAA industry standard and not only that game matches and surpasses it's contemporaries visually but even to this day it gives Unreal Engine 5 games the run for their money. That last one also happens to be the engine Kill the Justice League runs and despite being on (at this time) the most cutting edge iteration of Epic Game's software it somehow looks not only worse that Knight but also Arkham City and I'll even argue Asylum. Point is that is not only the writers but also the devs that made Rocksteady the beast that it once was are long gone.

I finally figured it out. There are two possibilities of how things turned out like SSKTJL: - Arkham City had that bad alternate ending where Catwoman left instead of saving Batman. We all played Arkham Knight wrong with the new game being an elaborate bad ending. - Other theory is that we've all been dosed by fear toxin. It's the only logical way to explain how KTJL turned out worse than we feared.
