4:30 - please explain to me what's going on? The brunette guy fouled something, got whistled at and went into the penalty position so the other guy could try to flip him over? I just don't know the rules of wrestling.

Welcome to the channel! Although Freestyle wrestling uses "Ordered Parterre" as a penalty position, that is not the case in American Folkstyle. If you listen to the audio very closely, you can hear someone counting down, "3... 2... 1... time." The reason the referee stopped the match is because the 2nd period had ended. The wrestler wearing the green ankle band had choice of position going into the third period, and as you can see by his hand gesture, he intentionally chose the "down" position, also known as the defensive starting position. This is a very common choice because most wrestlers find it easier to earn a point for escaping than it is to take their opponent down from the neutral position, or to turn their opponent to their back from the "top" position, otherwise known as the offensive starting position. Vielen Dank. Ich habe daran gearbeitet, mehr Filmmaterial der Anzeigetafel in Videos zu integrieren, die in jüngerer Zeit gedreht wurden. Allerdings gibt es immer noch eine große Anzahl älterer Videos wie dieses, die gedreht wurden, bevor ich angefangen habe, die Kamera häufiger zur Anzeigetafel zu bewegen.

Ref called clasping pretty quick early on. Also, wrestling on your knees in neutral rarely does anything for you against a quality opponent. Get to your feet, or he is going to crowd you and score. Good match.
