I've never seen a ventriloquist thinking so far outside the box like that. She really notched up a level. Very clever, creative and skillful. I'd imagine it would be very easy to screw it up, but she nailed it.

Probably one of the best ventriloquism act I've seen. The self deprecating, deconstruction of her act, and turning the monkey against her fits in this show so much she's almost like a fan of the show. She knows the type of jokes that would kill here. Very very impressive and entertaining.

She laughs because it helps sell the illusion that the _other_ person (or puppet) is doing the talking and she is just _reacting while they talk_ - it's a deliberate ventriloquist's technique. Laughter is one of the few things that she can feign while her voice box is already engaged providing the voice for someone else - she's not really laughing at herself. Because we all have a template in our brains for how conversations go, it helps us fill in the blanks. It's pure Gestalt - where our brains perceive entire patterns or configurations, not merely individual components. She's fabulous at it, in any event... 🐒

As a pip-squeak growing up in the '60. I loved all the popular ventriloquist on the TV at the time. And this very talented woman is a first-class performer. She is one of the best ventriloquist I have ever seen! Superb act. The "my ass from your elbow" line was genius!.
