Love you Nina!😘 I know how lucky I was for the opportunity to have you stay at my place in San Francisco for those couple of weeks in 1982. You were going through a difficult moment at that time,, but you persevered. Thanks for touching so many lives during your sojourn here on Earth, Your message and memory will help heal the nation we call home, in the difficult moments we are going through right now. May we be willing and able to hear you, and open our minds and hearts to your beautiful sound and soul.. ❤️🎵💕🎶🧡🎵💙🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹💙🎵🧡🎶💕🎵❤️

Thanks for bringing this wonderful concert (not too much for jazz) but love Nina Simone especially her popular standards, the way she "tears" up the piano when she plays "My Baby Just Cares for Me" blows my mind every time and my favorite song "If you Knew " gives me goosebumps every time. Also love when she features the drummers.
