MY Word! First, although I am over 60 y/o, I have just now discovered my inner baker. Today I came across this recipe on your channel looking for something else. Since I love garlic and cheese, I just had to try out this recipe, even though I was skeptical. These came out just perfect on my first try! Thank you for sharing this recipe. May I suggest that those who think the dough is too wet, use a Danish dough hook for "kneading," keep at it b/c the texture will become smooth and silky. Resist the urge to add more flour--this dough turn out such a lovely textured roll. Now I will surf the rest of the channel. Thank you again!

I do have a question: do you oil the pan? I oiled mine, but I would like to try without, if the rolls won't stick. I would also like to add that ordinarily, I don't like videos for instruction, but in your case you keep it moving, post notes and don't engage in chatter. I appreciate that the visual cues help in regard to what the texture of dough during various stages should look and feel like. When I made these rolls tonite, I had the video up as I was making them. BTW, there's only 3 left.......

I just baked it and had it with my family for dinner . Everyone loved it. It is just Out Of This World. So soft and melt in the mouth . Instead of the butter I spread some pizza sauce, Italian herbs and cheese. Thank you sooo much for sharing and demonstrating your art.

Maria, Ingredientes do Scallions do pão do queijo: 125ml (1/2 xícara) de leite morno 25g (2 colheres de sopa) de açúcar fino 3g (1 colher de chá) de fermento instantâneo 1 ovo grande, batido 2 50g (2 xícaras) de farinha de trigo 3g (1/2 colher de chá) de sal fino 42g (3 colheres de sopa) de manteiga sem sal Farinha extra para lidar com a massa 100g de queijo cheddar picado (1 chávena), para recheio e cobertura. 42g (3 colheres de sopa) de manteiga macia + 1 colher de sopa de cebolinha picada + 1/2 colher de chá de alho em pó (cebolinha / manteiga de alho) para o recheio. Ovo batido para lavar ovos (você não vai usar tudo). Método: Em uma tigela: leite quente, açúcar, fermento. Mexer. Adicione o ovo, farinha, sal. Misture rapidamente e adicione a manteiga macia. Misture até apenas combinado. Mexa ou misture por cerca de 5 minutos até formar uma massa lisa, macia e pegajosa. Cubra por 90 minutos no lugar quente. A massa será muito macia e pegajosa. Coloque na superfície de trabalho com um pouco de farinha para manipular a massa. Dobre e forme uma bola. Divida em 10 partes. Forme uma pequena bola. Alise a massa no sentido do comprimento. Espalhe um pouco de manteiga de cebolinha na massa e acrescente o queijo ralado. Role a massa para cobrir o recheio em uma forma oval / pães. Alise a última massa em uma forma redonda, coloque o recheio e forme uma bola. Use uma assadeira redonda ou uma panela de pizza, arrume os pãezinhos de 9 peças ao redor da borda e coloque a última bola de massa no meio. Cubra por 30 minutos. Lavagem de ovos Slash cada massa com uma faca afiada / lâmina. Revelando um pouco do recheio. Cubra com o queijo restante ralado. Asse a 180 ° C (350 ° F) por 20 - 25 minutos. Até dourar e crocante do lado de fora. o queijo em cima forma uma crosta agradável.

Ninik, I made this recipe today for my family coming for a few hours. Our greatniece stays with us for a week. The bread turned out to be yummy, soft and delicious. I remember years ago I use to go down on Canal street n shop. I had special stores I went for my favorite things like scallion patties off the dollar cart n almond cookies umm mouth watering. No where can beat their fish markets! That scallion recipe looks like a lot of work. Enjoy

Fui olhando os ingredientes da receita e fiz de acordo com as medidas. Perfeito. Massa maravilhoso. Fiz o recheio com 4 queijos e acrescentei ortelā e paprica picante na hora de pincelar com o ovo. Simplesmente perfeito. Estou pensando em fazer pra vender.

I just had to watch this video again, it's so satisfying to watch the dough respond to how you handle it 😄. I wonder if using bread flour would result in a less fluffy dough? If so, I'll just go pick up some AP flour. I wouldn't think self-rising flour would work in this recipe, but they are the two flours I have on hand currently.

+Elizabeth Roblyn, wow..thanks so much for great review! Bake in loaf pan will be no problem, with similar method by flatten and roll up the dough to shape into a loaf. May have to add a little of flour and baking time if need to. If getting brown to fast, please cover with foil to prevent burnt on top. Experiment is very exciting!

This is now a favorite... Initially it was dry and shaggy, so I added a tiny bit more milk. Then I don't have the strength to stir it. LOL.... so I went in with my hand to knead it, somehow it was like so so sticky, but it became smooth but sticky after 5 mins or so. Let it rest for 90 mins... turn out with beautiful strands. Baked with the softest and moist bread ever.. still soft and moist even after 2 days!
