I have just finished making a batch of these for the first time. OMG so delicious! My family loved them! They could hardly wait for them to cool down enough to eat them! & to anyone wondering, 16mins at 200 and 4 mins at 180 is PERFECT. And the bottoms are cooked and crispy! Definitely no soggy bottoms! 😋

susannah the sausage roll look really lovely, but can i ask how did the pastry turn out on the bottom, i always seem to have uncooked pastry at the bottom. this true especialy when trying to cook quiche , even after pre cooking

Hi, they were perfect, cooked evenly all the way round. No issues with that at all. No one likes a soggy bottom!

Great idea! Could I use the metal cooking rack to cook the sausage rolls, as would save more time than cooking only 3 using the other pot?

Yes you can use the rack anytime. Sometimes it’s worth adding parchment or foil to it depending on what you are cooking
