Putting myself in his shoes, he's probably really intimidated being surrounded by pro chefs telling him what to do so he's probably overthinking everything. I think he was gonna slice the bread normally but started overthinking it and thought he was doing it wrong. Yes it was super funny and I laughed at him for like 10 mins straight but I don't think he's stupid, i think he's just awkward and was nervous....

As someone with no opinion on ninja, I assume he’s controversial based on this exchange, I don’t think hes stupid.
