Ninten would’ve have been a good addition in smash ult, he’s completely balanced and really fitting to be a vanilla smash character, Its too bad that Sakurai didnt put Ninten in Smash, I can’t say I blame him because its not easy being the chairperson of Smash Bros, so anyway back the the mod review, whoever made this mod did an amazing job, I rate it a 10/10, thats exactly how balanced modded characters should be in smash

I like that Ninten uses more bat moveset and his PSI attacks are more in line with his learnset in the original game (at least as long as I know, but I know all EarthBound main protagonista have mostly support PSI techniques, but Ness and Lucas use more offensive powers that belong to some of their teammates in their games) Of course Ninten has to make the challenges

I don't think Ninten used PK Beam in Mother 1, it might have been Ana who used it instead. Though, it is definitely interesting to see that he doesn't use much PSI abilities in his normal attacks, since Ness and Lucas use them a lot in their normals.

I love how Ninten doesn’t have the wide variety of magic damage attacks like Ness and Lucas do because he doesn’t learn a single offensive PSI attack. However, apparently in a Mother add he’s seen using PK Beam with Ana, hence why he has it here. Likely to assume that, much like Paula taught Ness his PK attacks he has in smash, Ana taught Ninten how to properly use PK beam for smash

Lucas' isn't that bad actually. PK Thunder sends him further and controls a bit better than Ness' PK Thunder, and cannot be just destroyed by jumping into it. Plus he has the rope snake for a tether recovery.

Let's go! I'm so glad Ninten is here, he's one of my most wanted characters for Smash. His moveset is exactly what I would expect for a semi-clone! 1:49 Looks like Ninten's down air comes out on frame 12. For reference, Ryu/Ken's is frame 8, Olimar's is frame 9 for all Pikmin, Luigi/Falco/the Pits/Palutena's is frame 10, and Lucas's starts on frame 10 with the final hit being a meteor smash. Falco's is the best out of the fast meteor smashes. Even with those, nothing compares to how powerful Pyra and Steve's down airs are.

The next thing modders need to figure out if they haven't already is how to edit AI for individual slots because as expected, Ninten does not know how to recover. You'll notice before time out he went in a circle thinking he was aiming PK Thunder.

Ninten was the main character I was wanting to be added into Smash Ultimate. We really needed the main protagonist from Mother 1 to be alongside the main protagonists from Mother 2 and 3. Would be cool if Ana and Lloyd appeared during his Final Smash like Paula and Poo with Ness and Kumatora and Boney with Lucas. Also, he has Smash 64 Ness nair. Just wanted to point that out.
