Since vinyl records have sold so well in the last few years, there is now a 10-20 year gap of people who never used a record player, so now younger people are MORE likely to use one. More likely that they have stricter deadlines pushed on them by The Pokémon Company to have the games released on a schedule that aligns with the anime and TCG's schedules. Scarlet and Violet had multiple glitches that even most smaller dev teams wouldn't let happen (like using 2 controllers to double your character's speed). No studio WANTS to release games in that state, it's pretty clear that it's an outside source.

Fun fact! European DS game Actionloop is possibly the only game capable of adding extra content/stages to a GBA cart. If you have Polarium for the GBA inserted in slot-2 of an old DS and boot Actionloop there will be options in settings to unlock two tile sets and transfer 10 themed special stages. As far as I know, there is not a single other DS title that can add new content to an older GBA title in this way. Even the American version of Actionloop, Magnetica, did not offer this unlock feature. This is potentially because Magnetica was released before Polarium in the US, where in Europe it was the other way around.
