I’m happy and also little concerned cause us as gamers and Nintendo fans are expecting a lot of this new console like for example backwards compatibility, being able to transfer all ur switch library and data like coins save data etc , new themes that are not the boring black or white plus be able to have ur Nintendo account carried over to the new console and maybe some other extras like trophies like u mentioned on one of your videos or being able to watch movies on Netflix or Hulu or having a internet browser etc just to name a few I hope it ain’t what it was for the Wii’s successor the Wii U cause the Wii U bombed it was over before it began don’t get me wrong the Wii U had some good games like zombie u and twilight princess hd the wind waker hd and botw but it fazed out too quickly

I'm hoping that it has those bigger joy-cons with metallic and magnetic attachment as well as having the 4K capability, but at the same time, I'm also hoping that it has a second built-in screen so that it can accommodate games that are meant to be played with dual screen.

Would it be awesome to if we had a trophy system for switch games like they do for PlayStation and Xbox it be a lot better then beating a game and not being appreciated for completing a game cause right now for example Pokémon scarlet or Pokémon sword etc you don’t get anything cool or useful when u complete ur Pokédex or when u go up against the battle tower in sword and shield just for some examples

I expect the reveal will be fall-ish this year for an early 2025 target release; but it’s smart of them to leave the announcement timing ambiguous enough, allowing them plenty of maneuverability (and, their competitors will be in the dark too- they know what we know)

Why would anyone believe that the June Direct would reveal the system? I'm guessing the reveal is after the June Direct. Between July and September. People who are reaching, saying well it wont be revealed till 2025 cause Nintendo says within the fiscal year. They aren't going to wait till the end of the fiscal year to reveal it lol. They just said fiscal year cause that's investor lingo. We will have the reveal Between July and September. October AT THE LATEST.

Switch only works for a system name if there's a switching gimmick. If it's missing from a successor, it's not a Switch. Anyhow, it's probably a good name... but Nintendo would probably go for something stupid if it is pretty much a more powerful Switch. Like the Nintendo Switch Up or something with a slogan being like 'Switch it up!' or something.

Fortunately, Brazil has since uploaded a KZbin video saying that March 2025 is still the release month plan and there's currently no reason to worry that that isn't happening :) hopefully that stays true for the remainder of the year. About the September direct, I wouldn't expect it at alllll. I think June is the last Switch 1 direct and in September or October we get a successor reveal trailer :)

I think the many YTers boosted the hype for Switch 2 so much with their rumors and speculations on a daily basis, that it started to cannibalize the Switch 1 sales already (more and more potencial customers started to play a game of waiting, instead of buying a Switch 1). And that's why they had to throw in something that can stop the speculation and ensures a last decent holiday season. In June's Direct they will drop some nuclear bombs, like Metroid Prime 4, maybe a Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Remastered, a Wind Waker and/or Twilight Princess remastered and they will secure their fine holiday sales volume. And AFTER that, the successor can be announced, 1st Q of 2025, with a summer or fall launch, so the Switch 2 sales can accelerate before and for 2025's holiday season.

I want a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, a double pack of Triple Deluxe & Planet Robobot for Switch, Switch port of F-Zero GX, Super Mario 3D All Stars Plus for Switch which gives us; 64, Sunshine, 64 DS, Galaxy 1, Galaxy 2, & 3D Land. If Super Smash Bros 64 comes to Nintendo Switch Online for Switch (as it would've been held off until the end), now Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online (and as one of their Nintendo 64 titles), and get Super Smash Bros Ultimate Deluxe (new Nintendo Switch game AND new Super Smash Bros series installment), the Switch 2 would be able to play all previous Super Smash Bros series games. That is, except for Super Smash Bros MELEE and Super Smash Bros BRAWL. And only Super Smash Bros for 3DS would be for Nintendo Switch Online (that is, counting both versions of Super Smash Bros 4 as one game). But still, I am still waiting for Super Smash Bros 64 to be released on Nintendo Switch Online for Switch.

I hope the next Nintendo system has lots of Arcade/NES/SNES/Gameboy systems/N64 and maybe Gamecube games 'free' lots of us likes classic games and lots of us likes Darby of Blue Television Games Tuesdays streams usually of lots of classic games from lots of classic games systems suggested by lots of people in chat. I hope the 1st game is Mario Kart with online multiplayer with lots of people around the world including tourneys and lots of tracks from past Mario Kart games including PacMan track for us who likes PacMan but never got to play those Mario Kart games.

I really hate how its a vague sometime this fiscal year. But since we are in their fiscal year we have almost a whole year for them to reveal I don't think they could make it into next year and not reveal anything. Especially the lineup of the games I feel a summer reveal or late winter so they can hype into holiday 2025 as a possibility. But this dragging on has got to stop I know investors are pressuring them to get the successor out. And it better not be switch attach that is such a horrible name some of these leaks and rumors are just mind blowingly dumb. It should have been released this year, but it won't, they want to sacrifice one more year to have a stronger start with more first party games day one, so idk why you think it is being rushed, Nintendo doesn't want Sony or Xbox situation or first switch where people had to wait a lot for Yoshi's, Mario's, and other games to be ready, so 2025 would be perfect as majority of first party would be ready by that time

Basically I was right all along. Reveal isn't gonna be until early next year and the release isn't going to be the last half of 2025 at the earliest. If they were going to reveal it this year, they would have said 'this year' and not 'this fiscal year'. And if they were going to release it around march/april/may, they would have mentioned that they were going to reveal the system 'this year'. Seeing as he used 'this fiscal year', it pretty much confirms that they intend to reveal it early next year. As usual, the leakers with so-called reputable sources are wrong and I'm right. Also, they call it a successor to the Nintendo Switch. Not the Switch 2. Leave it to KZbinrs to have no reading comprehension and to use clickbait.
