About the keyblade model for kirby... Given the particle effects take the shape of the keyblade, there is also the possibility the model is there so the particle system can make reference it to create that shape.

Shin Megami Tensei V is one of my favourite games of all time. The story with Hayataro is a bit disappointing that it couldn't be pulled off because of the switch (thats what they mean with technical issues after all). I feel like Hayataro was likely planned as a reference to Pascal the dog and Cerberus from SMT 1. As a huge fan of SMT 1, I would have loved that reference. It really makes me hope we get either an enhanced version or sequel to SMT V on the switch successor or Xbox Series/PS5. It would be nice to see them be able to fully realise their initial ideas as I get the impression there are probably a lot of things that the switch prohibited them from doing

I think what make Nintendo's games so consistent in their quality (atleast in comparison to the schlock their competitors are coming out with recently) is that the limitations on their hardware force them to not get too ambitious. They decide what they can and can't do fairly early on and mostly stick to it and make that as fun as possible.

One thing I found weird about TotK was it placed so much marketting on the skies. But the more interesting parts of it took place below ground. There was other stuff added that was never mentioned in the marketting (reappearing enemies from earlier titles, the tears, the secret stones), so I get they wanted to not reveal what they might have seen as "the best". But it feels weird to show us one new area when there's a much larger one on the flipside that never gets mentioned.

Never heard anyone claim that. Care to provide your sources? I don't think anyone ever said it's down to a single entity, it's just that the copyright surrounding Kingdom Hearts is an absolute nightmare, because KH is owned by Disney, but Square Enix has an exclusive license, so even if both companies wanted Sora in Smash, they'd have to made a contract to make an exception for that license, otherwise Disney could have been sued for breach of licensing agreements, same goes for the music since Kingdom Hearts music is owned by Yoko Shimuras label, which exclusively licenses it out to Square and Disney, which also would have had to be changed to include Smash. Like the problem was not that Disney and Square didn't WANT Sora in, the issue was that even WITH both of them wanting Sora in, there was a LOT of legal paperwork to be done to make it possible.

It should be a direct successor, just like the Game Boy Advance was to the Game Boy/Color, the 3DS to the DS and even the WiiU to the Wii. Considering the Switch's massive success Nintendo's next console should be a direct continuation of the Switch brand, calling it Switch 2 or Next Switch, something that can at least differentiate from the original so they don't commit the same brand confusion that happened with the WiiU

Kirby may not be a Keyblade wielder, but he is one of the most proficient wielders of the Monado. Kirby is one of only 3 people to have been able to activate, control, and not be harmed by it. Major Xenoblade 1 spoilers below: Dunban? Electrocuted and manipulated. Reyn? Dragged around a room. Shulk? Also electrocuted. Arglas? Possessed. The only exceptions are Alvis, who is a god but also a disciple of Zanza at the time he wields it, and Zanza, the god who made and partially resides in the sword in the first place. Kirby stands among gods, which doesn't really surprise anyone at this point.
