I show you how to connect to a public wifi internet network if you are getting the message "Registration is required for this network" on the Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite. This goes for hotels, models, hostels, airports, etc. Hope this helps.

Who else is getting the blank white screen after hitting "Next". Been scouring the internet for answers, but no luck. I'll just have to accept the loss. I was able to connect my switch to my laptop wifi hotspot. Sadly this made the connection "slower" for my switch I guess, no smash was able to be played.

Good info. I drive truck and use truck stop WiFi and hotel WiFi often but when I would try to link my switch to the network and I’d get the same message and I’d just exit out thinking I would be able to connect. 😂 I’m excited now.

If it doesn’t load and all you get is the white screen, call the front desk and ask for their IT number. They can add your switch’s MAC address and you’ll be able to connect. It will not remember it unless your stay is within 30 days. You’ll have to call each time you stay. (at least with Holiday Inn)

Hey, I’m at some weird Hotel in Virginia. Definitely not one of the popular ones. But I connected earlier and that white page popped up and nothing. And whenever I retry, it automatically connects, even though I cannot actually use it on an online game. It says it an NAT Type F.

I found that some networks don’t let devices other than pcs and mobile phones connect to them unless, you log in to the public WiFi account through a mobile phone or pc and manually add you switch’s MAC address to the account. THIS WORKED FOR ME!! Hope this info helps someone even if my comment may be confusing 😅

My nintendo switch asked for this once. I put in my room number but when I hit okay, it said "okay" for the entire page and I hadn't click on the last name tab let to type that in. Ever since it's completely black listed my switch. Each time I connect instead of giving me an X for the internet it'll give me green checks across the board and no actual internet.

Here’s my issue I’m staying at Candlewood Suites and don’t get me wrong I get transferred to the browser page to enter the access code information to connect to their WiFi and all- _BUT_ whenever I click *’Connect to Wi-Fi’* the screen will not load, move, or even say error!
