I visited this today! I think they said it was a WIP. I think they should add pyramids, an oasis in the middle of the desert, and expand the market and abandoned village a little bit more! It's so cool! I like how the tents look like traveling vendors. Maybe a cooking section.

I visited this island the other day and it is incredible. I never new the desert theme could work so well in animal crossing. Btw, if you like Studio Ghibli you should totally visit Kohaku island. It's like a love letter to Spirited Away. The dream code is DA-4838-5632-4390.

i like the idea of using the other profiles named “merchant” and their tents to make merchant stalls! one thing i would recommend tho, maybe spreading out those 3 tents on other parts of the beach! 🥰 edit: but at the same time it makes sense that the “city” part is compacted into one corner of the island
