@steve henderson the one good thing kurt had going for him at this time was that amazing record and the songs and possibly a future of his own music, but of course that parasite of a woman had to be hanging on like a jingle bell around him.
@dyr2344 жыл бұрын
@steve henderson I tell you, that woman was and still is nothing but trouble. It's like she made everything in her track possible and swim in that "nirvana royalty". She killed two artist with her personality. I bet you to that Kurt would have loved to see Frances grow up over the years as well, he cared more about her than that witch ever did. And what pisses me off the most is that she never continued as an artist, she just continued enough to stop and sit in richness, and she was always fucked up she even said it her self dozen of times. It's scum like her that make me sick to think they are still living on this earth and not artistic people like Kurt.
@dyr2344 жыл бұрын
@steve henderson you are the kind of people I like talking to, the kind of people that can form a well put conversation about this matter. I'm a guitar player myself and I record songs and i've been fascinated with Kurt's guitar weirdness for years, especially that insane middle section he does in breed with that weird C note, I just love that stuff so much. One thing is for sure, he knew how to be different and deliver it, as much as i love all the electric stuff he did I would have also enjoyed acoustic work from him as well, he could play anything on acoustic and electric and it sounded fantastic. I could tell kurt and dave weren't to good, I watched the live and loud rehearsals and dave and kurt got into a little "Hissy fit" nothing major but by the way kurt spoke to dave I could just tell he did not have the patience anymore for it, but I bet he would have been quite proud of dave for forming the foo fighters. knowing he also did his own thing. I firmly believe that if nirvana ended foo fighters would have still happened while Kurt did his own thing and would have been ok with that as well.
@dyr2344 жыл бұрын
@steve henderson yeah I do, I got one song I did two years ago. It was more "Stoner space rock" inspired but I know longer play that stuff anymore, but it was a good song none the less and I like that i did it. I kinda went back to a lot of good stuff I haven't heard in years and taking influences from that. Bands like skin yard, mudhoney, screaming trees, nomeansno, violent soho, nirvana, dinosaur jr, at the drive in, fugazi, pretty much alternative/noise rock type of stuff. I got 7 originals that I been working on and recording to put out soon. You can check out my soundcloud page in my song I have hear in my youtube, its named "Snake Oil".

i've never seen this footage before wowee. he's always felt very not of this world to me, in a beautiful way, maybe because he died two years before i was born? i feel this odd pull towards him like i could have learned so much from him, i can't get enough of him, like we were meant to be friends, and i miss him. i was unsurprised to find out he's a water sign and an infp, like me. watching the teen spirit video as a little kid and being told by my dad that he was an addict and took his own life.. he scared the shit out of me, but i couldn't forget about him, the image of him screaming was etched into my mind. when i was 16 i decided it was time to listen to more of his music and i've been in awe of him ever since. he inspired me more than anyone else to pick up the guitar and to be unapologetically myself. i'd give anything to be in his presence, just to know what that felt like.. maybe one day i'll find out. rip king kurt

Kurt Cobain killed himself when he was 27, leaving his 2 yr old daughter and wife. I was 16. He was, and remains, a phenomenal songwriter, a once-in-a-generation voice. When he killed himself, he had withdrawn from his band, withdrawn from his family, left every drug treatment program he entered within hours, disappearing for days and scaring the shit out of everyone who cared for him. He was in constant pain, a long history of depression, attempted suicide only 2 mos prior -and nearly succeeded, and was at the mercy of a long-standing heroin addiction. I never understand what people think was so heroic about him. He didn't want to be anyone's hero, and he repeatedly underscored how shitty it made him feel that while all these kids looked up to him, he was unable to enjoy life, addicted to drugs, and felt he had to lie to media because what's he supposed to say, "Hey kids! My arm has a $1K/day habit and I'm completely out of hope!" He was a tragic figure, a young man who was loved by the world as he was by so many people who knew him well, with everything to live for, yet his pain and suffering ultimately were unbearable. It's sad and cautionary. Not heroic.

I loved this night! Was a great show and to be backstage with Pat! I am here seen walking with him... We smoked a lot of cigs that night. This was the first time I met courtney. She frowned and forbid Kurt from ever hanging out with me, out of jealousy. He and I had a plan to go out to carnation to do peyote and ecstasy to try to meet God! I had a sweet moment in my life hanging with Pat Smear❤ I miss those days and am grateful for the memory here. I was wondering if this video would ever surface , I remember the cameras.

I think for all the sensitive people in this world, it's so obvious to feel the person Kurt was. The most sensitive people suffer most internally, for this world is cruelty and unfair, good people die in poverty while the rich and selfish dominate and enslave those who do not have materialistic greed. I'm just saying this to open the subject, because people with a closed head who "infiltrate" the world of sensitive people usually end up understanding everything wrong and confuse sensitivity with mental problems. Kurt was sensitive, that is very clear in his form of expression, thoughts, attitudes. While Courtney is just the opposite, a selfish, mental illness, materialistic self with a world-sized ego who engages any "rock star" at the top just to hitchhike. As soon as Kurt hit the top, Courtney dropped Billy Corgan and tied Kurt. I feel sorry for Kurt getting involved with a human being as low as Courtney. Kurt bought a house in Carnation, WA, in the woods, near nature, in peace. Courtney wanted a mansion in downtown Seattle to boast. She pushed Kurt's friends away and tied the man up in a spider's web from where he could not get out, for the love of his daughter. When he finally got tired and decided to part with this spider, he simply appears dead. The mere detail, in the testament he had written, Courtney was out, for he had recently learned that she cheated him. But he had not signed the Will, yet. Then he appears dead. Courtney HOLE's album is released just a few days after Kurt's death. Courtney herself said that "thinking selfishly, Kurt's death would make her sell more records," she said. Read what KIM GORDON has said about the case recently. It is impossible to leave this story as it is, for it is evident that something very rotten is about to surface.

I don't understand how people can be so judgemental about him. Most of them don't even made any effort to get to know the whole story or try to understand complexity of his personality. I don't know what really happened on the day of his death and I don't want to make any judgements, but you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to know that something was very wrong there and in many ways didn't make sense. I can't believe people just believed a woman, who can basically lie and manipulate anytime she likes to (it has been proved and confirmed). It is sad but in a way like when you see injustice and it makes you angry because you cannot do anything about it.
@Andr-x8r7 жыл бұрын
q_w yeah ... Its sad to see injustice in front of you and can do nothing. Its fair that the facts are brought to the table, that they may seek the truth. The police themselves admit that the case was conducted in the wrong way, that there are unresolved facts yet to be explained, and that it depends only on the current management of the Seattle police to reopen the case. We know that money buys almost everything in this world, buys mainly "justice," and there is no shortage of money for Courtney. Millions of dollars that would not be in her hand if Kurt were alive. In fact, it does not have to be Sherlock Holmes or Einstein to connect the dots.
@a_way73407 жыл бұрын
Andre, it is good that the case might be reopen, but after all these years, when the green house, the body and other evidence don't exist it will be very difficult. A lot is in hands people who might know something, their stories might be like dots to connect.
@Andr-x8r7 жыл бұрын
q_w yea.. I think the case needs to be reopened, mainly to make it clear that there is no certainty that he committed suicide. This isolated fact would already be something. I very much doubt that the principals involved (guilty) say anything. Do you remember Cali deWitt? the "nanny" Courtney put in to live inside the house? He was in the house the day Cobain died. Where is Cali deWitt today? is living like a millionaire with his "art", even gold teeth this guy boasts. A guy who did not have a kid in his pocket, today lives like a millionaire ... And have you seen the "art" that Cali de Witt produces? he leaves messages and plays with the fact. El Duce, dead. kristen pfaff, dead. Did you ever see the "real nanny" talking about what the relationship between Kurt and Courtney was like? There's a video of her talking. Unfortunately, people know that there was something linking the facts, but there is no concrete evidence, the evidence needs to affirm the guilty, which I believe will not happen, because it would not be now that they would throw the millions out the window in exchange for guilt and imprisonment. So I think the main thing would be to open the case to make it clear that it is not possible to declare Cobain's death as a suicide.

Couple things: (1) Pier 48 was demolished in 2010 to make way for new waterfront development, the site still doesn’t have any new construction yet in 2024 and was used as a place to store new construction equipment for other projects. (2) Pearl Jam was supposed to play this show but backed out the day before due to Eddie Vedder’s illness. (3) Towards the end of the band I noticed that the guitars he used in the stage destruction were ones he rarely used the rest of the concert, he would deliberately switch to one that he maybe wasn’t attached to, or that wasn’t a favorite, that he could wreck? What a showman and musician. (4) If you believe Charles Cross’ book (and many do including Courtney, reluctantly) this was the height of his heroin habit when he was high almost non stop and in a way that was frightening to everyone. It’s hard to watch this having read it.

This is my opinion, and I am (in no way) a certified doctor/phycologists or a PHD degree student, but my thoughts on the part of the video where Kurt & Courtney are seen together, is that after the show, Kurt was (or maybe wasn’t) very tired, angry or just flat out done with the whole show and just wanted to go home after it. Courtney (may or may not have) known that he was upset or tired and that’s why she was trying to comfort him by keeping people away from him so he could be alone for a while with him. Feel free to disagree and/or argue with my statement (if u choose to reply or not) but it’s simply my opinion.

She is jealous sociopath. Kurt was too close to Kim and she hated it. She is trying to control him. he is happy when she isnt around. when shes around he wants to get away. he has a child with her and isnt sure how to get away. three months later he tells the label im done nirvana over then tells CL he wants divorce. A werk after both of those revelations he is found dead.

I sincerely think she was just genuinely concerned about him and what would they do afterwards. Just hear their last conversation on this video: Cobain: "What the fuck is it on about?" Love: "The damages?! I don't know!" Turns out that Kurt broke, like, the whole fucking stage for his Endless, Nameless gig, and the staff at MTV were already bitching about it, and Courtney was notifying Kurt about it. But, of course, Kurt was tired as shit, like any other person would after playing such a concert, and that's why he is so apphatetic here. I honestly see nothing as bizarre as people in the comments are saying. It's literally just a normal couple interaction in that type of situation.
