hey! Did you fix your mesa and add some reverb? very decent sound, compared to previous vidos! good job! I also note that you noticeably improve your skills as a guitarist. your hands have become much "lighter and freer" (so to speak) and there is a feeling of relaxation when playing. Great!
@jq.guitars2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I fixed my Mesa Pre a few days ago, Wastewood mixed our tracks together and added reverb. The higher quality sound is thanks to my new TZ Stellar X3 microphone. I believe I have improved tremendously since I've started. Thanks for the comment!

I heard Cobain used a univox super fuzz with a samsamp pedal for making demos. Have you tried this stacking pairing combination?
@jq.guitars2 жыл бұрын
I have both, but I never tried stacking them
@waynegram89072 жыл бұрын
@@jq.guitars He would stack them to get what would have been on the 4th album which they have demos songs of him stacking them with that randall amplifier with a celestion speaker. In the studio he for nevermind he used a fender bassman and 4 other amplifiers for each guitar track with a wall of sound. Try getting that randall amplifier and stacking that combination
@waynegram89072 жыл бұрын
@@jq.guitars Listen to the home recordings because he is using a univox super fuzz goes into a boss DS1 with the distortion turned down to zero using the pedal as an EQ pedal and then to the sansamp being used as a overdrive pedal that went into his randall amplifier with celestion speakers that were a certain model speakers that most people hate but they sound good for that nirvana tone. Try to make a video lesson about this nirvana stacking combination. This was going to be used on the 4th album from the demos he was making

Hello there, I have a question. Do you still costum guitars? I always wanted to have one like Kurt`s Skystang 1/2. I saw that you built one in a video. You also said that you built those guitars for customers. I am really interested! The only problem is that I am a lefty, could you do one anyways? I also live in europe, hope that`s not a problem.
@jq.guitars2 жыл бұрын
I still do custom Stangs, although not very often because Sonic Blue Mustangs are hard to find. I've never seen lefty go for sale, but I would do leftys if given the opportunity.

Hey jq I’m thinking about getting a Squire Mustang but I want a drum set. What would be good for nirvana stuff on my Alt channel?
@jq.guitars2 жыл бұрын
I don't know much about drums, but a Squier Bullet Mustang HH would be perfect for Nirvana. I personally don't like the necks or bridges of the Bullet Mustang, so I'd put a finish on the neck and swap out the bridge. I personally recommend getting a used Squier Vintage Modified Mustang. Those are quite a bit better, they have Rosewood and can be found for under $400 on Reverb.
