Fun fact: Kurt met Scott at an STP concert. Kurt was trying to get backstage after the show but security was giving him a hard time. Scott was passing by and recognized Kurt and told security that he could come backstage. KC and SW were standing by a deli tray when Cobain jokingly said something along the lines of “You know, everybody tells me you guys sound just like Nirvana, so I think you owe me some sort of royalty fees.”. Weiland played along and pulled a crumpled one-dollar bill from his pocket and gave it to Kurt, and they all had a good laugh. R.I.P., Legends 1967-1994 1967-2015

Butch Vig polished Nevermind up post production with a mixer, it was so clean it wasn't even grunge anymore...it truly gave birth to "Alternative Rock". Edit: not saying it was a bad thing, Grunge is dead, after all...David Geffen made millions off it before selling the label, and the rest as we say...is history. (True story, minus other details and other really big artists on the billion dollar DG label) 💵💵💵
